They reset It just after I make a new din. =(

People still play Diabolo II? Jeez, I havent touched that for about 5 years now. They still update it? Or do they just maintain it?
 
i remember when that very first ladder season started. i was one of the first hardcore players to make it to nightmare difficulty.

manly cause most kids were worried about lvling up or dying before they got there. :bb:
 
I was into this game a lot just before FFXI was released in the US for the first time and off and on after it was released. I never did do any ladder games though. I think they just maintain it now though. Though they're last update wasn't too long ago. Had something to do with the uber diablo, baal, mephisto but I don't know what all is involved in that.

Yes, they still update it.

Usually just add new rune words, tweak abilities, etc.

recently, Ive actually been wanting to play it on the side a bit. Fun and simple game, used to play it full time
 
Noooo! My phat ladder items on non-ladder are worthless now!

Yeah I used to have some phat items too but my account is gone now lol. I don't even know whats worth what anymore.
 
I guess sojs are still the currency in that game? I remember someone telling me that there not worth as much as they used to. People trading rare items for other rare items seemed to be more common.
 
with the plethora of hacked and bought crap on that game who knows whats worth anything anymore.
 
I just remember trying to swap items between some of my chars once and losing a whole load of shit when the game disappeared on me :(
 
yeah i know duping got really bad. At least before the v1.16 or whatever came out years back. Ended up losing an armor I bought cause that patch deleted all hacks/dupes. A guy I worked with duped amulents that were worth like 20 sojs each and gave me 4 of them. Then I took advantage of the lack of knowledge one guy had who thought that same amulent was worth 4 sojs, and I traded him a beth..something or other GS which was worth about 4 for his amulent. So I got a 20 soj amulent spending a 4 soj worth item lol. That put me up to 5. I spent 3 or 4 on good gear and held on to the rest. Course now my file is gone so that was wasted, but hey, it was only duped.

After that I only messed around with open battle.net. I downloaded hero editors and item makers and customized my own items and dowloaded massive amounts of item packs and imported them on to my character. I made two charms that gave me all these aura effects which made me look like a glowing god lol. It just looked cool. I also made a few summon charms to where you kill an enemy, the corpse turns into diablo and I had another for baal. I basically had about 15-20 diablos/baals running around killing everything for me. Plus I had whites, blacks, greens, and blue hacked equipment which made my stats all crazy like.
 
I play from time to time, goodfun watching lame ppl attack lower lvls and act like they are doing something so cool.
 
Yeah that annoys me. I've had higher level people always bugging me to dual when I'm trying to get something done. I tell them no cause it wouldn't be a fair fight. Then they offer to give me the first few hits. I just think to myself, thats pointless. Just a waste of my time sitting there not being able to hit him/her and him/her kill me in one hit. I can't figure out the fun in that.
