Diabolos's Pole?

[Amelia D.]

Just a quick question about this little piece.

It claims to enhance Aspir and Drain in dark weather, and the equipment guide I use claims it's useful for those spells in conjunction with Dynamis, Apollyon Limbus, and Einherjar because of permanent double dark weather.

However, I was talking with a friend once, who has been a career BLM for a really long time, and has the majority of the major gear pieces that can be obtained, and they said that there's no point in getting the pole because even with the bonus from double dark weather, it still isn't as effective as Pluto's Staff (which I have).

Are they correct in that aspect or should I pick up a Diabolos's Pole for my Dynamis/Limbus runs?

Diabolos's Pole is not thee best for drain/aspir. Over time Pluto's beats out pole (probably even in dynamis) because of it's magic accuracy. Diabolos's Pole however can produce higher numbers (Only in dynamis) than Pluto's but at the cost of less accuracy. Keep in mind also that you can obtain Pluto's with Dark Magic Skill from the augment system.
