I have now been in two parties with this Elvaan guy named Tracy and he is both rude and highly inexperienced as a player and more so as a leader.

In any case, my first experience with him in Garlaige Citadel came to a point where he suddenly announced he was leaving. He disbanded without any thanks or part greeting and started killing some monster close by with another person. I think it was to get some item, but thats beside the point.

My experience today started with me receiving a tell from him. No greeting. Just a...

(Party)?

Even though I greeted him, he repeated his short (...but to the point) question. Since I "needed" experience points and didn't feel like telling him to learn some manners, I joined his party. All looked good; six people. Nice jobsets. So we teleported to Altepa, sneaked up and ran to Rabeo. Half the PT got aggroed on the way which I thought, "Hmm..." about.

When we got to Kuftul, nothing but problems and we hadn't even settled camp yet. People not paying any attention to sneak wearing off or where they were going. Aggroed a crab, PT crashing big time. White mage DC'ed so I kept PT alive as much as I could. Then someone died. Then more training. I nearly died curing everyone, at which point I thought that I would part from this party before it got worse. I said that I wasn't up for it and apologised to everyone for my leaving, whilst curing everyone up to safe levels.

Next thing, Tracy says, "Bye guys". Disbands and runs off. We still had a fallen (K.O.) person in Kuftul and a confused party. Tracy was the leader and just abandoned it without care.

I warped to Jeuno and blacklisted him.

Anyone had a similar experience with this "Dick"?
 
I ran into him when he was lvl 16 mnk with no sub. He kept pulling by attacking the mob and when we told him to stop he said that he was having fun.
 
I booted a guy from a party once who kept summoning avatars and smacking mandies with his wand, because he was having fun too. Sounds like Bloodwarrior and Tracy should get together.

Worst BLM/SMN ever! Oh, and yes, I have "fun" booting useless non-listeners or rude people from parties.
 
lol, I was in a party with Xromeox as the leader and he kicked out like 10 people for no reason at all. It was hilarious. He kicked out a DRK just because he didn't bring a specific Scythe or something. Holy crap, was awesome.

(By the way, you guys hear about how they're revamping DRG in the next version update? Might make it a respectable job again.)
 
If you're going to be a party leader, ya gotta take responsibility for the actions of the people, and be willing to boot someone for sucking ass. that's all there is to it. Thanks for the heads up about Tracy.
 
Funny, an LS mate of mine was complaining about this guy in ls chat yesterday and then he must have done something really stupid because I just remember seeing /blacklist Tracy. Didn't catch the whole reason cuz I was fighting, but I respect my ls mate enough to know that this guy must have been a real piece of work.
 
Majestic XII your name is awesome. I've never pt'ed with Dick, but i'll be sure to do my best to avoid him, as it sounds like he's somewhere around my level (seeing as you mentioned going up through Kuftal.).
 
Thank you Veovis for your compliments. Yes, I would use caution when and if you enter a party with this person. I have heard many reports of his conduct since I originally posted my flame.

Why helo thar self contradicting statement. I'm hi jacking this thread, Tell me Thnikkaman, WHY is DRG lesser? Hm? Do you have parser data? Maybe you've played the job high enough to know what it's capable of? Do you think DRG is useless because SAM gets Wheeling Thrust ? Because. If you're one of those people the last sentence described, you really do need to just GTFO.
 
Ah Tracy.

Tracy has a pearl to my Linkshell I think.

When I first met him, he was a newb and doing stupid things like pulling by attacking. I straightened him out on that one. We talked a while, I helped him learn some basics, and I gave him a pearl.

The next 2 weeks, my linkshell is bombarded with messages from Tracy. "Can I have a power level for my Bst?" "Can someone give me 40000g?" Shit like that. He asked Shillo a question one day, then got mad because Shillo answered truthfully (with "yeah, you are an annoying little shit"), and dropped the pearl.

About a month later he sends me a /tell about how he has grown up a lot and is more respectful now. And he has a 70+ job and would love another pearl to my link. "No. you can't have one."

He keeps going on and on and on. Over the course of the next few weeks,he asks me for a pearl about 20 times. I could understand wanting in so bad if my Link actually did stuff, but we are completely social. You might find help with af or coffer/chest key hunt, Maybe the occasional BCNM, but nothing else.

So I broke down and gave him a pearl about 2 weeks ago. I figured I'd see if he had grown up any. Obviously not. Next time I see him I'm taking his pearl and directing him to this thread.

He's the same age as Pandetech. At least he isn't that bad. Still anoying and immature tho.

Dragoon is "lesser" at the moment because they lose a good 15% of their damage with with a couple of well placed Bomb Tosses.
 
Ah tracy.

I have about 5 pages of fraps'ed conversation with him in which he claims he has a 75 pld and nin AF, and then he asked me how to get to beadaux.....

He didn't know where it was, and if i'm not mistaken you need to have rank 5 for Genkai 3 so how he would be 75 I can't figure.

This guy was hilarious, I was laughing away for hours, not to mention the time he said a level 50 rng could solo the sea horror easily. Ended up he meant a sea monk.

He's totally clueless which would be fine if he wasn't always trying to convince you he was some uber 75.

the guy had never heard of 90% of the xp zones post level 40. Anyway I've got to get back to work atm. I'll try and get those pics up tomorrow
 
I'm a permanent resident in Windurst, so I usually just outpost to Qufim if I need to go to Jeuno for something, rather than wait up to 15 minutes for an airship. I can't tell you how many times I've ran into Tracy out there, begging me to PL on job or another. As with most of the bullshit /tells I receive on a daily basis, I never reply. And begging for a PL on BST? Man, that's just fucking low...
