i got my copy of 12 last night first thing, I come home to play it, and today my brother in law jacks his PS2 from me to play it himself, my PS2 doesnt read discs otherwise it wouldn't be an issue. What pisses me off is i let him play and beat KH2 my copy of it b4 i got to play it, then he turns around, lets me think ima get to play 12 and today jacks his PS2, im surely never gunna see the damn thing again for a few weeks now. I just feel he is an asshole. he shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. .\.. >.< ,,/, Thestoneddog. Thats him slap him online if you see him for me lol.
 
lol well isn't your copy of FFXII? Sure it's his PS2 but he can't play what he doesn't own...

Seriously, your game, take it the fark back. If he were my brother, in law or not, he'd be lucky to walk away with both functioning legs if he tried that.
 
Anyone else here think that it's his ps2..he has the right over who plays with it? :?

Sucks for you, i've been in your position where I wanted to play my game that I bought with my brother's gamecube, but he says it's his gamecube and he's gonna take it.

edit: oh he took your game too? damn thats low and kill him lol but yeah same thing goes with ps2, its his xD

Switch out the 2 PS2s in the middle of the night so he thinks that his has stopped working.

Then tell him you took yours and had it fixed like 2 days later.

Asshole punished, problem solved.
 
lol must clear up confusion he has a copy of 12 too, my bad to mis inform like that. But hes still a dickhead. and thats a good idea tripp, i have also considered taking the lasers and switching then from the inside because they are the same model PS2. But knowing Sony I dont know if they rigged it somehow to make it perma-fucked if you tamper with that kind of thing. The reason im pissed is because like i said, when KH2 came out I had the only copy and yes he held it hostage til he beat it, I let it slide and figured i could suffer through waiting, this time though hes being a dickhead about it, seriously, he shouldn't have even let me start a file if he was gunna go start one 5 hrs later and never let me touch it again. Not to mention that PS2 is my only real portal to 11. SO im bored, here at my laptop that can play 11, but its too laggy to enjoy.... Fucking 1.78GHz processor P.o.S.

Just adjust the height of your laser. Open the ps2, remove the disc tray assembly, find the little white dial deep within the recesses of the PS2's bowels, mark its current position (indicated by a little arrow) with a marker...then click it slowly to the left, two clicks at a time. One, two. Stop, put the disc tray assembly back in, leave the ps2 open, put in a game, see if it works. If not, two more clicks. Keep it up, it'll read discs again. Mine did. All my friends have as well.
 
Oh really? sweet I will try that, I think I know exactly what your talking about too I have taken the damn thing apart many times. *crosses fingers* hope it works, if so, I will be your best friend forever, >.>
