Ok.. so when I first got this Dell laptop I had frame rate problems... Tried several drivers (found that Dell messes with them so you can't use the Nvidia driver from their site) and finally found a driver that worked properly.
My friend just recently got a new Dell Laptop with the 8600M GT (I think it is) and he is having the same problem. He's tried the Dell provided driver... and it hasn't fixed his problem.
Pre-Update I was fine and was getting ~20 FPS in most cases. Post-Update I'm now getting ~8-10 FPS. I tried the newest driver that Dell has to offer... but it has not changed the Frame Rate at all.
Are there others out there that are having this problem?
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
I can confirm it is a problem on my friends the 8600M GT Nvidia and mine the Quadro NVS 110M.
At any rate it's been quite annoying... and I'd assume it's happening to others out there.
Lets use this thread to talk/try to find a resolution to this problem.
