It'll be months/a year before it's released on PC if it ever is. I'm not sure if FFX or FFX-2 were ever made available for PC's.

Shit... Pokemon Emerald sold out in under an hour on the day it came out. People are all over video games here, and there is even a bit of a backlash where those who aren't into it, try to ridicule others for speaking aout them in their pressence.

Late reply to this, but this quote above is totally true. I live in San Jose, and I had to go to Frys Electronics to get my ToAU because the one I preordered from Gamestop got sold because 'First come first serve'. Stupid Gamestore...

And also, the 'backlash' part is true too. I've got a few friends who dont play video games. They'll never hear the end of it from me and my cronies.

On-topic, yes. I preordered the Limited Edition one. As was illustrated in the bay area comment, you gotta reserve your new games ahead of time, or you wont get them for a few months. If I see something coming out I want, I reserve or, or I wont be able to play it for quite some time. So..Yes. Reserved. Limited Edition style.
 
Well if you want the Limited Edition, the only way you can get it is if you reserve it. There is also a Limited Edition Strategy guide as well which has the artwork book and stuff like that.

You can pre-order some option thing that allows you to pretty much get the pre-order form beforehand, but it's not usable until the pre-order option is up I guess? That's what I've seen in other Sony forums...

But...

I pre-ordered FFXII :cool: dunno if it is limited edition though. Knowing me, I probably got the Horrible Edition somehow... someway...
 
Pre-ordered collector's ed as soon as I heard about it. If it's FF, you gotta have the collector's ed. As for the PS3 pre-order, you can do it. There is a company in UK offering it, but at a very high price.
 
Yep, I preordered the FFXII collectors edition... However, here in America, you can not preorder a PS3 yet, because of the 360 fiasco. I did put my name on the list of the pre-order priority for the Wii though. :D
 
I am going to get the Collecter's Addition. Whenever there is a Collecter's Edition you gotta get it! Haven't preordered it yet though. :(
 
I've had the CE game and LE guide reserved since the CE game was announced ;P

I put a deposit down on the regular version if that counts, but i'm gonna switch it to the limited now that the dvd making comes with it, and the stratagy guide.

This games gonna be sweet... i was just drooling over how real the characters look, and how hot they are! *drool* :D

No reserve. EB games near me doesnt offer it and gamestop closed down.

That is just weird... All EBGames should be reserving according to company policy. Also, where are you from? GameStop bought EB, so if anyone should be closing, it should be the EB lol

Um, EB games does reserve/pre-order? I pre-ordered Soul Calibur III through EB games. -. - And as Lanien said, Gamestop bought out EB games, hence why if you search them up on the site for availiblilty of certain games, EB games is under the listings. So, I am too surprised that Gamestop would close on of its own franchise plots, instead of a peon store with no superirority over anything.

They also do reserve because I have a game that is in reserve until tomorrow (48-hour reserve). God knows how I am gonna get there though.
