Yes the Diorite is better...

Darth, Casjen, Koncubine, Nib, and Me spent 4+ hours for one drop last night. with no other parties out there.
Constand pulling, getting about 20~25k exp for the night.

I try to tell myself Byakko drops are worth it, but then needed to kill Despot, and then killing Byakko [and getting no haidate...I add]
then repaet the diorite nightmare.

Cix stayed another two hours after we all left before he finally popped at all.

4 hours? Pshh.

This flame isn't worth it. Some days are shitty and some days are jaw dropping amazing. I've done many many NM and various HNM camps, there have been times where I went months without a single drop to going 4 days straight with multimillion gil drops each day. It's all random, no matter how good or bad it is. Just wait, you'll farm one day and see multiple drops within minutes, when it happens, keep farming until your luck runs out.

Shit i remember back when sky used to still mean something we had an alliance in the Ulli room for 5 straight nights for 6+ hrs and only got 1 stone because we kept getting fucking outclaimed. The one nice thing about those times though was that you only really had to be conscious for 2 kills every 16 minutes.

I was going to but it in Good times section, since I did have fun... but my point was SE expects everyone who plays this game to have unlimited ammounts of time.

After that night Darth and I decided to raise Diorite value to 3 points, instead of 2.

S-E should just make a non-despawning ??? in sky that you can click on to obtain a piece of god gear every 2-3 minutes until they've gotten everything they want to. Screw having to put effort into getting gear. 4 hours to get half the pop-set for one of the best items in the game? Preposterious.

even better we should just be able to send an email to them saying the gear, merits, and job levels we want. And then while actually playing your character you should be given hints as to what spells need to be cast where you would play perfectly if you just hit enter constantly and play perfectly.

No. but 4 hours for one item.. you call this “work” and “effort” but this is just rat work, lower the drop rate of diorite and make Byakko harder, that’s where the real effort comes into play, any mindless idiot with no skill can kill statues for 4 hours.

If they did that, I would go up to sky and get a new haidate every day. Then when I was finished, I would post on QCDN about how I got a new haidate, making a new topic every day. It would be sweet.
