Was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this? It's been going on for much too long, and I'm pretty much sick and tired of it.
Basically, my PS2 is hooked up to the router in the living room by a long wire. My brother's 360 is also connected to this router. The living room computer(which I'm on at the moment) is connected to a modem.
Problem is, on occassion the router will pretty much crash onto itself, causing me and my brother to get disconnected at seemingly random intervals. But, the computer will still be fully connected with not a single problem.
This has been going on since I started the game a year and a half ago, and for a long time I just suspected it was one of the cables I was using. But, when my brother got Xbox Live and was experiencing the same problems at the same time I was, I realized it wasn't a problem with the cables.
I've treid to temporarily remedy the situation by resetting the router after getting disconnected, but I think that may just have made it worse.
I'm looking for a solution, though. Anyone?
