Dissector KSNMs

So now that I'm level 71 on BLU and have Savage Blade, the only thing that's holding me back from leveling to 72 is that I want to have a Dissector ready for unlocking when I hit 72. It drops from 3 KSNM30s: Double Dragonian, Prehistoric Pigeons, and Royale Rumble. I've only really ever heard of people doing Double Dragonian for it; Royale Rumble apparently has crappy drops aside from the weapons, and from what I saw of Prehistoric Pigeons, it's really hard to do in a non-manaburn style.

Anyway, what I wanted to ask is: to those who have gotten this sword (and practically ever since BLU came out, I've been seeing them all over the place), how did you get it? What KSNM, what strategies/setups did you use, etc...? Also, if you did Double Dragonian, is it possible (or rather, possible as in better than a 1% or so chance) to learn Body Slam there? :3

i got mine for bard from Prehistoric Pigeons, and we went 1/3 on it, with a BLMx5 + RDM set up, pretty easy id say ^^ nuke/sleep/nuke win

Yeah... the problem is, my only 70+ jobs are 71 BLU and 75 WHM. I'm looking for non-manaburn setups, here. >.<; If I could get a bunch of BLMs together, I'd have a Reverend Mail by now. XD

Pimps have done a shitload of Double Dragonian, percentage-wise I'd say Dissector is about 20% chance. Sometimes we'd get 2-3 in a night of 5 runs, other times we'd get none.

DD can be melee cannon'd, but I prefer our original method of meleeburn one dragon down (usually the war, Dragonian Berserker) and kite the brd around the arena while DoT/nuking it. Takes about 10-15 minutes total for both to die.

I'd be happy to come be your kiter if you can get a blm, rdm, nin, and any filler (whm works well) and the time is good.

Also... I thought you can't learn any blu spells from NMs. Is that true? If so, both dragons in this KS con Impossible to Gauge so I presume you're out of luck.

Eh, you can learn spells just about anywhere. I've heard reports of people learning in BCNMs/KSNMs, and you can definitely learn in Besieged. And yeah, NMs aren't special; if they were, Dahaks would be the only mobs in the game we could learn it from. A lot of people learn it from the Vanguard Dragons on the way to Dynamis Lord, or the Enhanced Dragon in one of the Limbus zones, and I've heard of people learning it even from Ash Dragon. XD
