Dissidia: Final Fantasy

just got my cloud to lvl 100 :D trying to figure out who i want to take up next, its fun to have lvl 100 and have exp > brv active :D pretty much can onslaught without waiting for brave to regen
 
Just got the Special Edition this very moment. Oh man it's so cool!!!!

Edit: Sweet! Reversible Inlays for the cover as well =D
 
Does Firion get better? I hate not being able to melee in the air. His spells kinda suck and Straight arrow is easily dodged...
 
I got Cloud to 100, and did Onion Knight. OMG, I love that dude... his shit is so hax.
 
Firion is mainly a ground fighter, so what he does get for aerial attacks can feel lacking.
Of course, he's a beast on the ground. Shield Bash, various Double Troubles, holy shit people are gonna try to get you in the air.
 
I just beat Inward Chaos and fuck me that was intense. I used OK and I barely and I mean BARELY won. I hate Chaos and Divine Punishment so much.
 
Yeah I hear Inward Chaos is difficult as hell.

Anywho, I haven't been playing much myself, only recently finished all character's Destiny Odyssey's as I'm taking it extremely slow.
Started up Shade Impulse a bit to get to the 3rd stage in the 1st chapter, having beaten Kefka with Terra on stage 2 to unlock the extra scenes.
Went back to redo Destiny Odyssey's for manual summons and get more DP items/treasures/try the rare battle pieces/level up. Only went through WoL's so far and his level doubled from it, going to finish going through a second time with everyone at least then back to Shade Impulse.
 
so where do the little taru and Gabranth come into all of this?
 
I've got 98% on DO-V. I've gotten all the DP rewards, engaged all pieces, and picked up all elixirs/treasures/potions.
What the fuck am I missing...

You got the Rosetta Stone and everything under for DP rewards? Including all the gil rewards? Gotten each DP off all DP possible battlepieces at least?

Too bad nobody has the Gilgamesh ghost card yet, SE hasn't revealed the code to enter to unlock it for the NA version.
It can drop genji armor.

Or alternatively, fight a level 105 ExDeath, equip a thief's cap, luck+ accessories, set him to highest strength/difficulty, AI level to auto and if you fight with a level 100 character he'll be 105 and possibility of having genji items equipped, random if he does have them on though.

I don't need it to drop. I just need a couple different elixirs and I have it made. I just keep trying out the Blackjack Course in DC and don't actually farm the other ones.

I think I might be missing the DP chances, but I've gone through the story so maaany times I'm afraid that if that's not it I'm gonna scream.

Shantotto and Gabranth can be unlocked when you complete the storymode with everyone and then beat Chaos in 'Shade Impulse' with one of the characters.
Then you can choose to play Shantotto's and Gabranth's storylines in 'Distant Glory' where you will fight them at the end.
After you defeat them you will be able to unlock them, they cost 1000pp each.
At least that's how it is in the Japanese version.
I don't know if there are any major differences in the EU/NA versions.

Also has anyone leveled up a villain? I honestly haven't because like Tiael said earlier going through each characters DO nets you a bunch of levels and for me money as well so I really don't go out of my way to play the villains. My highest is a level 41 Warrior of Light. =D
 
You gotta level villains in order to get Chaos Reports. Good thing is, the same method you use to get the reports you'll probably use to level them up.

Quick battle won't be efficient then eh?
 
Technically, but all you get is PP/Battlegen out of it. At least through Colosseum you'll get elixirs and items to make character-exclusive weapons, as well as everything from Quick Battle.
 
So how do you level the villains? Just fight with them in arcade mode or what?
