Dissidia: Final Fantasy

Wow, awesome, just watched the trailer for this game from a friend, was going to post a thread on it but already found this one. It looks pretty awesome. About time they had something like this, I used to write fanfics of FF games and even wrote something with FF characters from all world inside one world before.

I'm personally gonna use Zidane from IX, he's awesome (Plus his JP Voice actor is the person who does Naruto Uzumaki, so it fits perfectly). Though I wonder how Ultimecia will play on the game... :confused:

hehe.. it's funny.. Gackt was inspiration for Squall, Tidus, and Genesis (dur :P) appearantly. 2 of the 3 seemingly the least favorite main characters (or so it seems.. XD)

Personal opinion of Genesis:

Much more interesting than Sephiroth. Much more awesome looking weapon. Looking forward to seeing more of Genesis in more FFVII stuff.

How strange that you should bring this up. I just wrote a blog on my extreme hatered of VIII not two hours ago. If I played this game I would definately use Cloud. Although I think I would rather beat the shit out of tidus or vaan over squall. Squall was actually a pretty cool character (for the first half of the game) in a shitty game, vaan and tidus were shitty characters in a good game.

hehe, we'll have to see how he is in Crisis Core though :P he might blow. His look though reminds me of Dante from Devil May Cry.

This is a game I've been dreaming of for a long time now, duking it out with various FF enemies with various FF characters from the past.

/nod, I've watched that trailer 10 times so far today lol
Squall vs Sephiroth just so badass, Zidane and Tidus teaming up, Firionel from FFII is actually kick ass, the enemies are pimp too, Ultimecia looks sweet, and they haven't even announced/shown all the characters yet.
 
Japan is, not known yet if it's releasing in other places, though it better, else I'll just have to import even if I don't understand it, I just wanna beat the shit out of FF baddies.

Is it PSP only? If so that totally blows...This game is already aces in my book. I've long dreamt of a SSB style Playstation game. Instead we get one with just Final Fantasy characters, which is almost better lol.

Why it took so long for SE to do it is beyond me, but kudos.
Now I just need a PSP...
