Any thoughts about this?
Looks very interesting.

I'll be seeing it for sure

I'll be seeing it of course. The trailer kinda reminded me of Cloverfield (without the nauseating jerky camera action). Looks pretty cool.

My husband and I are definitely going to see this one

I say it looks kickass.
I f***in' <3 aliens.

This movie will be good because it's the result of M$ not doing HALO with Jackson. They will show them the error of their ways.

The alien's weapons is where it's at!

For shame.

I'm interested in this movie and have been since the first trailer appeared back in...May? I think.

I forgot entirely about it though, until very recently. I love alien movies, and "HELP! I'm being repressed!" movies, so this should be up my alley.

The restrooms at the theater I went to see Harry Potter 6 at yesterday have signs out front that look like caution signs reading "Caution: Non-human waste may be toxic! Contact your nearest NHMU representative if you see non-human waste".

Shit like that is great.

Yes and I have a gut feeling that this movie will deliver. It is crafting a very believable universe. If you go to the website it even has job postings for human and non-human. A "Non-human dental worker" earns like $1,000,000 per year or something close!

I love that website. Its really fun clicking around seeing all these things about the movie.

Im going to the midnight release for this! cant wait!
and btw, spielberg is in talks to pick up the halo movie.

omfg this movie was amazing. I was just on the edge of my seat and shouting out loud at the awesome effects and kills, i cant believe the budget was so low and they pulled off so much!!
A big fuck you for not lettin this guy do halo. It would have been amazing! I cant wait to watch this again!

Solid movie. Glad i didn't pay full price for my ticket. Would have just waited to see it on netflix or something.

I thought the movie was amazing and worth every penny to watch in the theater. The CGI and special effects were amazing. The acting was very solid as well.

Spoiler:
I am looking forward to the sequel District 10!

Was great movie!

It was really good. Might be my favorite movie I've seen this summer (up there with Star Trek).

Spoiler:
I'm really looking forward to the inevitable sequel.

That was the first time camera motion gave me motion-sickness...(I was feeling queezy before the movie, but wow, I felt 1000x worse after the first 20 minutes, haha)

And omg. Christopher's kid was so adorable. I want one!!

One thing that bugs me though (awesome movie otherwise) is how y'know...all the prauns are so brutish, all except Chris and his kid. The only two! I just think they needed to show at least /some/ others acting similarly, to add a touch of it being more believable. imo, at least

Spoiler:
Well in the movie they said that the aliens that were abandoned on earth were more like the "worker" class with no intelligence to think for themselves and basically they just follow orders, that leader ship seemed to have died off by assumed disease.
For me it seemed like christopher (and his friend that got offed) were the last remaining prawns with the intelligence for leadership, but they had to keep it on the down low as not to attract attention from the MUA. Of course chris' son would be as smart being that christopher raised him and taught him everything.

When the MUA were handing out evictions, vicus even notes that "careful he seems to be a sharp one" obviously acting as if he was not used to seeing an intelligent prawn.

So in that collection of movie notes, it makes sense.
