I normally dont like starting a flame, hell, in my time here on QCDN I've been thru plenty of shit in-game and yet I've never had the occasion to flame or give someone some shit.

Just a warning for you folks out there against Diveine. Me and my friend Darkakumaa have been camping (and killing) Serket all week. Just yesterday we had our first CC which is cool, competition is part of the nature of this game. So today, Darkakumaa is already in Garlaige and so is Diveine. From the looks of it, they were already in PT. If he decided to team up with someone its all good, less money during the split, but having a RDM for the occasional cure and refresh aint bad.

So we get claim (we were the only ones there anyways) and proceed to pound the shit outta Serket. We kill him, Serket ring drops, yippee.........right? Well as it just so happens, Diveine wants to cast lots on the ring. Now, me and Darka usually just split the gil for the ring, but she says she needs it for her RDM. Darka doesn't really raise a major complaint, so I don't either, we lot, she wins and gets the ring.

Now, I'll admit, I was a little irked that she didnt at least offer something for the ring and pretty much got it for free. And no, a RDM/WHM wouldnt have out-claimed either or us, nor would have been able to hold Serket off long enough for help to arrive. A BLM tried it yesterday and failed miserably. Anyways, to avoid making a major wall of text, heres the screenie I took with my phone:

I told her I was cool with it since Darka was also cool. I told her TWICE and yet she still proceeds to talk shit to me? Bitch, if you had friends that could CC where the fuck were they? Next time someone is being nice to you, dont turn around and slap them in the face. You sucked as a RDM, you kept getting hit by Serket's AoE to the point where I had to use MP to heal you. You didn't poisona us ONCE, and I went through 80% of the fight without refresh. Enjoy your ring hope its worth fucking people over, this late in the fucking game.

Darka got invited by her, and only reason he accepted was cuz I got up late today and he wasn't sure he could take Serket down by himself >.< my bad i guess :hiding: She won the lot fair and square, just figured (since I'd never had a bad experience with her before) she would at least put up 100k each or something (thats still one hell of a bargain for a Serket Ring). Hell, the money was of no consequence, it was the fact that she turned around and pulled that bullshit that pissed me off more.
 
All of her friends were waiting to jack Xarc from us, that's why they weren't there.

Priorities, man.
 
I don't really understand why you guys are upset. Maybe I misunderstood the OP, but did you not all agree on separately casting lots on the ring? I've done this also, and when I lost the item (more than once, strider boots) it was annoying. Because I spent every day there, wasting hours, then someone new comes and gets the boots. BUT I agreed to a lot on the item, so I didn't expect a dime (er gil) from them. They won it fair and square, frustrating or not.

Point solely from the SS is she's acting haughty acting like she coulda had mad people there to fuck Hexx's day up.

She's a garbage RDM, and that was a stupid teamup imo Hexx.

Any band of idiots she could've rounded up more than likely would've been laughable competition.

She got what she wanted, then acted like a bitch about Hexx being okay with it, apparently. Crazy people these days.
 
Had a few experiences with her while i was helping out blazes linkshell, started telling me what to do and telling me whats mandatory (me a sack her a pearl) hah, also did some nyzul runs with her. wasn't all that impressed, just another ffxi winnar i guess. sorry that happened to you but maybe dark should have made it clearer
 
Yeah, I'll admit that was a problem on our part, like I said, I showed up a tad late, so stupid me assumed it was business as usual (camp, claim, kill, split gil) but thats what I get for assuming /facepalm.

Yeah pretty much what Lecreuset said, I was a little irked but hey, oh well shit happens, not like Serket wont drop another ring in the future.
 
I became upset because this all came AFTER the ring dropped and I obtained it. I won it with a 258 lot. When I arrived at area I asked Darka "Cast Lots Liberty Team Up?" he said ok. Any agreement could have been said any time while camping. You waited for after it dropped to tell me "Just for the record, Darka and I camp and split the gil". I camped NM because I needed the drop for use not for gil. I passed on other items and offered to help kill it next day.

Right right lady, and in case you couldnt read (posted the SS just in case for ya) I told you I WAS FINE with it. Is someone being *nice* to you just that hard to fucking comprehend? I told you TWICE I was cool with it if Darka was so why did you have to pull that shit? The whole "I coulda had peeps come out and CC you" comment was uncalled for and utterly stupid on your part. Way to go bitch, again, enjoy your ring, although I doublt itll do anything for your shitty RDM skills.

Well, seems this thread served its purpose. Diveine came to me on Saturday and apologized for her actions after we had killed Serket. She sent me some money for the ring, but I turned it down. From the beginning this wasn't about losing out gil on the ring (that same night I won lot on a M. Silverpiece anyways ^^) just that she pulled that crap I posted above.

Thank you for the apology, I accept it on your part and hope things turn out for the better next time. Feel free to lock this thread mods, if you so choose.

I think I would have been kinda annoyed if you said that after I got it too, it pretty much screams can you sell it and split with us because thats what we usually do. Saying "if its ok with dark its ok with me" even makes it sound like your not ok. But yeah, would have been better if you just said congrats and let it go since it was an agreement dive could lot anyways. I know you probably mean it way Hexx, but thats how it looks like.
