DM earring re-acquisition Question

Have a bit of conversation in the LS about the re-acquisition about the DM earring. Just wanna confirm a lil about it.

My friend told me that you can acquire another earring without dropping the previous one you own. That is you can have Suppa and Another earring (lets say Knight). Is that the case for the new quest?

I believe you have to throw your previous one to re-do the DM earring.. But my friend told me, no... Anyone has done the quest yet and wanna clarify? Thank you.

From my understanding, you have to toss the earring, then a week later you can redo DM and rechoose your earring.

But I hear DM is a real bitch, so I dont know if I would want to go through it all again.

That's what i think too... And about the light ore, is it 1 light ore per fight or 1 light ore per person or..? Thank you in advance m(__)m

Still haven't done ZM myself, but heard LS mates talkin about it.

The requirements right now are quite unreasonable, given the recent supply and demand of Light Ore. It costs one per person, not per 18.

1. toss old earring.
2. Talk to the "blank" in the shrine of ru'avitau for a CS.
3. trade a light ore to the fountain in ro'maeve, and receive key item "moonlight ore".
4. get a ark pentasphere if u don't already have one.
5. redo divine might fight.
6. click the "blank" in shrine of ru'avitau after beating divine might.
7. choose new earring.
