So i'm assuming he's a midget with one finger to type... with one eye closed cause he super glued it when he was 2.. but now hes 16 and didnt have enough money to get it surgically fixed and now currently he has one good eye and the other covered with a patch...

my assumption is just as good as yours...

I still dont get how you get Dynamis Coins from "Rear Money".
I actually had asked my friend about this a while back. "Rear" in the sense of behind, or opposite. So it refers to how Dynamis is an "Alternate Reality," opposite of the current Vana'diel.

As for sky, moon, and sea, I know they translate to certian kanji which represent sky, moon, and sea. Although there are other kanji to be used, the ones used for sky and moon are as follows, but I don't remember what is used for sea.

空 - sky
月 - moon
海 - It means "sea" so I'm only taking a wild guess here on this one.

well, even if it isn't his first language it doesn't explain it <.<; I've only been to an english speaking country twice (England) twice in my whole life, and that was 1 week at a time.

Then why not just use the {Dynamis-Jeuno} {Money}? Jeuno gives all types of currency I believe AND you dont get the funny looking search message.

Well, what about english players who say {May}{Bee} and {Reward} (in help shouts)?

What about them? How can anyone confuse {Dynamis-<insert place here>}{Money} with anything else?

Besides, I didnt think the Japanese were ones to do that kind of stuff with the autotranslator.

{May}{Bee} is seen as {5th month}{Bumblebee} and {Reward} is seen as the word they use for taking care of someone that's hurt. So basically;

/shout {Help me out!} AF3 {Notorious Monster} {Reward}!!!
is seen as;
/shout {Help me out!} AF3 {Notorious Monster} {Feel sorry for}!
or similar to that... not a very good way to ask for help <.<;

And tell me in what way this seem right;

<Member1> {Help me out!}{Please}{Feel sorry}
<Member2> {5th month}{Bumblebee}

The JP must wonder wtf they are talking about in that situation...

I was afraid whatever message I put in my search comment with sky, sea, etc. would be lost in translation due to a misunderstanding like the one with {reward}. Hell, even I thought reward was translated to "reward" until that "Advice from a JP taru" thread was made, and he/she mentioned what it's translated to.

This thread made me remember, 2 years ago when everybody at Valkurn and Lower Jeuno were into the:

{Mithra}{Hand Job}{Liquefaction}{Galka}{Trousers}

That had me at LOL all day. ^^

Pretty sure "Hand Job" isnt in auto-translate. Just a stab in the dark.

because the japanese for rear (ura) also connotates reverse. Dynamis areas are considered reverse areas of their respective areas. For certain zones, more than one kind of ancient currency drops, therefore its much easier not to specify what area it comes from and just refer to it as (rear) (money)

edit: no unicode on this forum?
