Not sure if anyone ever ran across him, but Gias I believe it is flips out if you check him. I remember him sending tell to me about how he was gonna get me banned for it. Anyone know him? In fact I check him more after he kept snding me tell. Haven t seen him in months, and yesterday he sent me a tell with the Auto-translator while I was in my MH for no reason. I was rofl that he even remembered me.

I like it when people check me. Means they're interested in my gear/title, or at least wanna check my bazaar if I've got one open at the time. I worked damn hard for what I have, and I *want* people to take note of it.

In fact I got a lot of random checks while out soloing on rdm. I use equip macros like it's going out of style so I always feel bad for the person checking me since I'm blinking more than a rednecks Christmas lights.

As for being examined, I don't really care. Just dont like it when people examine me over and over again.

Personally, I think if someone needs to change their gear that many times so you cant see their gear, I figure their a gimp anyways.

This just in: After checking a random jp smn to investigate the stats on af2, I was met with a tell saying {/check} {No Thanks} {Leave}. This tell was recieved approximately 5 minutes after the initial check. This individual was so disturbed that he had to ward me off after being checked whilst afk.

It doesn't bother me at all. It did back when I started playing, but then I saw that we had the option of filtering it out.

People who get annoyed at being checked really need to get a life. If you can't be bothered to turn on the filter that prevents you from seeing the "check" notice, then you have bigger problems than just the ego issues inherent in the question.

Checking people almost like smoking. If I'm in a place where people are smoking, I'd step into a different room. But if I stayed in the smoking area and started complaining and getting annoyed at the smoke when I freely had ability to move myself into fresh air, it would be apparent that I'm just looking for an argument.

I've occasionally sent "sorry" to people checking me while I'm doing something since I change equipment with basically every macro... thus them not being able to /c <.<;

Personally, I untarget someone and type /check <name>... by doing that they can't change equip to avoid the /c
