Do you get annoyed when someone examines you?

I once checked a Japanese player when I was goob farming and they promptly sent me a tell saying F you NA cherry boy..... and slapped me.

I was shocked lol so I checked him 5 more times and carried on my way.

Now I always check other DRK's or jobs with gear I like. When someone checks me I don't mind one bit!

Then like an hour later..I was running to Selbina and I saw a person..I checked them..forgetting who it was..which happened to be the same person and I got this:

I wish i could go in game and ask people who don't like getting checked why its so bad.

The original reason is because it's compared to getting right in someone's face and looking them over...which normally is invading person space really badly. But then, it's a game, not real life, so getting mad over something like that is silly, even dumber that they get offended by this and not /slap or /dance or /poke really makes little sense. [dumber yet that this freakout is coming from the community who invented Kancho and other screwball "games"...]

While thats the primary reason JPs hate it...alot of people just bandwagon hating it and don't know the real reason and/or are just morons looking for an excuse to whine over something incredibly stupid.

I pretty much know what most gear looks like. So I mostly examine sometimes to see which linkshell a person is in or maybe the title. I don't mind getting examined, its just it can get annoying when the same person examines you many many times in the same day, same hour, same 5 mins >.<
