Does anybody know someone named Swing?

Last night my static party was in Sky killing Decorative Weapons, or should I say trying to kill them. Some total asshole named Swing was there with a party of Ninjas all of them level 75. First thing he says to us in "Leave now!". So we gave the common response...you all know what this is <(^.~)>

Several minutes after this incident we get swarmed by a pack of about 10 Decorative Weapons and are forced to Escape but not before our WHM Longdukdong "Duckie" was MPK'ed. If any of you know Duckie than you know how we feel about this. The GMs were entirely uncooperative as we expected them to be....do they ever help anyone?

Too make a long story short I just wanted to know if anyone else has been given this sort of treatment by Swing and JP cohorts?

Swing is uber, dangerous, and a prick. His style brings all the 13 yr old schoolgirls in Japan to his yard. 8)
 
Can't say i met the guy, but i'll be sure to watch out for him. For a GM to do anything reall they need at least 6 calls on the guy, so thats what i've heard.

About 2 weeks ago Imaginous, Yanzi, Demir, Saprykin and I went to help someone named Clevelan get his Jelly Ring in bostanieux oubliette.

The NM usually takes about 2hrs to pop - but we ended up staying there for about 5 1/2 hours due to the fact that we couldn't pop it because this asshole, Swing, 75 RDM/37 BST was keeping the ONLY fucking placeholder charmed, and we couldn't do a goddamn thing about it.

He sent me various tells with (Leave)! and tons of angry Jp faces.

We made about 9 GM calls that night altogether, and what ended up happening was that the GMs said they would take care of the problem.

Moments passed and we asked what was happening. They said they were conversing with the player. We suggested he be thrown in jail for intentionally stalling the NM for over 3 hours.

As it became clear the GMs were doing nothing we made several more calls. This culminated in a GM telling me that their superiors in Japan were instructing them to do nothing to the JP player.

I do have photographic evidence of this event, but my computer crashed recently and I haven't been able to find my photo software to upload the pics from my camera to computer.

To be honest I kind of forgot too :( been tied up getting Ground Strike and Sky

So basicly this shows that GM favor JP players, holy shit there need to be something done about this.
 
Its probably because the GMs didn't have much work when it was only released in Japan. I mean just think about it.

a) There are more NA players than JP, therefore when NA players joined the number of players will have doubled if not tripled. Ergo it is only natural that there will be more GM calls made.

b) the japanese seem to get on better. i have never heard of JP MPKing eachother, and i have heard of plenty of fights between NA players...hell look around the flame board for evidence. Therefor the number of MPKing calls (if any existed before NA joined - yes i am aware it was the JP who first started MPKing)

c) Racism. When only one country plays a game there is going to be little racism. Or at least alot less than if you have several countries playing together (especially if they have had wars in the past i would imagine). So therefore the number of racism complaints will go up.

So basically we increased their workload a shitload and they are probably kinda annoyed at it. Thats the opinion of a lazy person anyway :P.

Also they probably made friends with alot of japanese players over time and alot of NA players are generally Abusing to GMs (again look around the board).
 
OK, that's just BS, and we don't deserve that. I know it would take a LOT of work, but we should seriously boycott the game. Every NA in the server(or at least most) should, all on the same day, cancel their account, and maybe even spread to the other servers. Enough cancels and maybe, just maybe, SE would lose enough money to treat us fairly and boot the one JP that decides to be a racist asshat. :evil:

It really isn't that much of a problem...to be honest "JP only" isn't bother me either. If they want to play during peak NA time with "JP ONRY" on then they are a fool and i am quite content to laugh at them. There is no way you will avoid racism in this game....there are just too many people. And i dont see how the GMs being a little biased really makes a big difference. The only thing it would do is make them tell JP they can do fuckall the same way they tell us and dont stay around to chat afterwards.

Although if the strike would make them get some new GMs then it could be worthwhile...but you would be hardpressed to get everyone to do it as, to be honest. no one really cares that much.

Oh yeah...did i mention alot of NA players are abusive/like to have fun with the GMs. sorry that should have been d). i know if people were making my job harder i would be biased against them.

Actually.....

The wallet is the only soft spot we've got. Although I'll admit, nothing that's happened to this point warrants the amount of organization it would take to make something like this effective...i.e. getting the word out, list of requests, etc. If things were to continue to deteriorate..would be worth consideration if all you addicts could rip yourselves away for a day or two.

And the attitude about "that's just the way it is" -- apathetic bullshit. No wonder. People that sit around and whine about the powers that be in any given arena and then go on to say "but that's just how it is, we might as well get used to it" make me want to vomit.
 
to my knowledge swing is part of alleluia (or however that's spelled) and is just like it's leader... and arrogant dangerous player... Like a mini Ailia (who is renowned for being satanic... i mean to the point where he mpk'd another alliance of his own linkshell to get an HNM... who at level 64 drk/nin solo'd toramas with ease and tanked better than a nin or pld... mind you he had a Kraken's Club and uberness on his side....) he may be a prick but honestly... these are the people you do not want to fool around with... they probably thought you were popping Brigandish Blade (or whatever, i dunno where you were) and they just don't play games with NA's or other JP's in sky...

Those two statements have no relation. He's saying nothing has happened that warrants such mass movements, but at the same time...If something did, or to people who think something HAS happened, people would sit around apathetically and whine about how it can't be changed.

Yep. Thats what I was saying.

A lot of ppl have the attitude that we are powerless and therefore why try. I wasn't flaming anyone in particular just flaming the current and seemingly intesifying apathy epidemic.
