Does anyone else feel like crying?

Actually, I just really feel like playing Triple Triad now. Thanks a lot. :/

...and I realized I don't even have my cards here. Damn it all.

Additional generic "crying inside" comment

Good Lord...I couldn't watch for more than 2 minutes. Just because VIII was one of the worst FF's ever made is no excuse to suck at it. Look at the idiots hp and the damage he's doing, he's obviously severly underleveled(or has a terrible setup). I'm pretty sure every buel I ever fought in that game died in one hit.

Ive just done the brother tomb and my squal was on 3800 hp and doing 2k damage. How the hell this guy got this far like that is beyond me.

Underleveled? Makes no sense in a game where mobs level with you...

Crappy player explains it much better. Had the gist down, just took waaaay too long to execute.

That reminds me, I always wanted to do a 0-exp run of FF8... I should one of these days...

It looks like a combination of failure at junctioning and not knowing what he's doing.

HAY I WILL SCAN IT

TWICE

Heh, I have done this. It actually makes the game so much easier. Some of the bosses don't have some of their special abilities that they have at higher levels. Fighting Ultima when he doesn't have that Light move that does instant 9,999 damage makes him a pushover.

Really? Never knew that...but, it's VIII, so I couldn't care less. Just another reason why VIII fails at everything - you don't even have to fight normal mobs or level up.

A lot of games do use parallel levelling to some extent, including FFT...

I loved FF8's mechanics, liked the character design more than the other recent FFs, and enjoyed the plot of disc 1... unfortunately after that, it goes downhill. And of course FF8 has the best minigame of the entire series. It's not the worst FF by a long shot.

The only two I know personally are FFVIII and Oblivion - and now tactics, which I never played. I hate parallel leveling though, I think it's the dumbest idea to hit rpg's since real-time combat. Although I couldn't really tell it was there in VIII, when I went back to mobs from earlier in the game they were much weaker and I did much more damage. Is that just because of the upgraded spells I had junctioned?

Also, I've only played VII-XII, Crystal Chronicles, Dirge, X-2, and I think that's all for games bearing the FF title, although I can't help but feel I'm missing one(Legend doesn't count)...anyway, out of all those, I hated VIII the most.

he has a level 22, and a level 12.

Also, he's OVERLEVELED. if you're not level 9 you're too high.

Lvling in ff8 just made it more of a challenge, and going over lvl 9 made omega weapon unbeatable unless you have 10 holy wars, and even then it was tough

Yes but wheres the fun in that? :<

Fight and beat everything at lvl 100, thats the challenge ^^

And yeah, that guy, wow...uhh...Lets use zombie on a skeleton -_- uhh...

Lol yeah, I leveled everyone to 100 cause I could, I also played the shit out of Triple Triad and got all cards, got everyone's ultimate weapons on disc 1 bar Irvines(quite possible with card-mod and keeping levels low enough so enemies you fight drop the right items), I do that with all RPG's I play though, just the way I am, lookin forward to Dragon Quest Monsters, FFXII Revenant Wings and Mass Effect, RPG goodness hurrah. (Also WotG, but that's in its own category..)

Wait what?

No....

I've beaten him at level 100 WITHOUT holy wars.

As I keep saying, invincible item usage = not betaing Omega. :<

Yeah, I have beat Omega without using any of those cheap tactics. He is probably one of the hardest first in FF history.

Junction is the worst character development system in any RPG ever. Period.

Ozma > Omega. Omega took me two tries (Defend makes him really easy). Ozma is the very embodiment of WTF HAX... Omega had one move that did 9999, and one that did 3000 ten times (which does 0 vs. Defend) and Omega follows a FIXED attack sequence - Ozma has a significantly more brutal move list, is a ranged battle, and attacks randomly. Oh, and Ozma's strongest damage AOE attack also heals him.
