Hey kids, Alyada here.

I havn't seen a post about this yet, so I figured I'd post the information. The guys from Penny-Arcade.com have put up a website that deals with gaming-charity. It's called "Child's Play", and what you do is donate money by buying a movie, or game, or system for a sick child. This is my first time donating, and first time hearing about it, but I think it's a really good cause.

So far over 10,000 dollars have been spent on these kids, and many more need to be spent. The goal, from what I'm guessing, is over $350,000.

I donated a GameBoy Advance to the Vanderbilt Hospital, since it's the closest to me.

I think, as responsible adults, we need to look after kids who aren't as lucky as we are to buy the latest and greatest things. I can be selfish too, there isn't any denying it. I'm just urging you all to donate, even small things if you can.

I've done this for the past two years they've held it, and plan to again after I deposit this weeks pay check.
