If you all thinking about getting Dam Cloth sooner or later, don't, why the hell you gonna pay 6.9mil and 7mil+ and maybe some greedy people will jack it up the price to 8mil, now as off 8:03AM EST, there is 6 in stock, please don' buy them if you thinking off about, we can't control the inflation, but we can control the price if people all work together.

Boycott AH {Yes, Please} Don't buy anything that jump at a riduious price
 
Someone will buy them. You are royally fucked, economically speaking, in FFXI until SE does something about it. Don't count on that ever happening. Rosa Parks couldn't even pull this one off. If you have ever bought this said cloth at any time, you have, more than likely, contributed to the problem. Same goes for all items. You guys, that want to boycott or complain, want to boycott what you created or supported in some way or fashion before. It's cute though that most of you don't even realize that last sentence.
 
I duno why but everything strid says is pretty much Correct.FFXI's economy is fucked n its cuz of gil buyers pretty much.I mean it was 4 mil two weeks ago now its 13 mil.... LOL beehive chips aren't buying me that now

We're not creating this problem, is the farmer who farm expenive item, I still say, try not to buy anything at a rip off price, beside, if you making vermillion cloak, it take 3 dam cloth = 21mil + other materials, and Vermillion cloak is 18mil, why you want to lose 3mil to syn it. and why the hell you gonna pay 23mil for vermillion cloak, is like why you want to spend 1.7mil for raise III before SE did something about it and lower the price by a lot

SE can fix this problem, all they need to do is to increase the stupid drop rate for everything, make noob all uber, and will be less demand since people keep saying noob are the cost of the inflation. Then there is a lot in AH then people will lower the price, as you know, the more stock of an item, there is always 1 or few of them lower the price so they can sell their crap soon

The only way increased drop rate will fix inflation is if the drop rate is larger then the demand... which pretty much means they need to drop as often as Raxa drops from Aura Statues, lol...

Think the lazy ppl need to suck it up and find another means of obtaining gil, Economy should drop by end of February, if not farm, do some bc's, camp some NM's, garden, etc etc there are plenty of ways to match up to the economy, because i've even seen lower priced items skyrocket in price (i.e Raxa's =500k now).

Or just do what all the fucking cool kids are doing now in days, camp with gilsellers, or buy more gil from them and fuk teh economy up more...

Too bad im not cool enough like that
 
I just hope SE will do something about it..

It takes like 3-5mil to level up 1 point on my current Clothcraft lv. atm, and it usally take 2mil to get like 8 points. even tho I can sell it back to get back my gil and little profit, but is just not worth it to skill up (which is kinda good lol, now a day too many noob crafter lol)

we all wanted to enjoy playing games not stress and spend half a years to farm to get the stuff you need, I don't know why you all want to jack up the price for your own greedyness and your own entertainment
 
Speaking of things that jump in price very fast. Anyone notice the Price of Errant Hpl. go from like 300k to 1.1M(last checked).. I cried when I finally reached 72 and it was 1M ; ;

I have sold a few bits and pieces, then when the inflation drops in feb, I will buy them again and make myself a tidy profit.

In all honesty I made (and signed) a vermillion cloak right before the prices went apeshit, retards spending this much have made me more in the last 2-3 weeks by not logging on then I could have ever DREAMED.
 
I hate gil selling just as much as the other person but instead of complaining what kinds of suggestions are there to fix the problem...Maybe if suggestions were give to Square Enix it may help...
 
My main is Bard I decided to start farming to raise money for Monsters Signa. I checked the AH in Jeuno and it was about $800k at that time....I spent about 2 weeks I was almost to $800k I was invited to a party on Qufim so I stoped at AH to check I almost shit the Signa Jumped to $1.8 million...I gave up....God knows what it's at now
