ah Mielle. I staticed with her for many levels. She is a good white mage and does her job well. That being said, I'm not saying she never made mistakes. However what I -DO- know for certain about Mielle, she is an adult, not a child. She doesn't like being commanded, she likes to be asked politely. If you had asked for haste more politely in the beginning then you might have had a more pleasant party experience.
People often forget that to be polite in FFXI. I had a few people like you that demanded this or that and I reacted much like Mielle did. However, usually its refresh, and I -always- keep my refresh cycle up. So if someone asks for refresh a second after it dropped and I had just casted it on someone else. I simply say "keep your mouth shut or you won't get refresh at all." That usually works.
I feel sorry for Mielle, she's a very nice person, you obviously rubbed her the wrong way. I don't blame her for leaving if she was having a miserable time.
BJ is part of the oldest survivng group playing FFXI that is N.A. He knows his stuff and never dissapoints. If you get the chance to play with BJ you'll know immediatly he's learned this game thru and thru. As for his job skills, I've played with on his THF and BRD. NIN is a pie walk to both so I'm sure he's good there as well. Unless I missed the "You can't make a flame topic unless you're a troll" poster I don't see what's the big deal here...people do this kind of posting far to often and never catch any heat.
