You've all seen it, someone is being a dick, you tell them to go away, only to get <I don't speak any English> from a NA player.

I never had anything against any members of NH before today, just their leader (completely different flame) but now they go and stick their asses out there. Stalking me while farming a normal mob, putting me on autofollow repeatedly, and then pretending not to speak english. Real smooth guys.

If by chance you're near some mobs that can kill them and they're leaving autofollow on, lead em out, change equipment real fast and run. Nice tactic for that kind of thing :twisted:
 
What does it matter if someone follows you? Switch gear and that will break auto follow. If they are grabbing your farming mobs, just keep ahead of them. They can't keep up with you and kill what they are grabbing at the same time. It is just like elementery school, they only do it for a reaction and will quickly bore if you ingore them. Just go afk for 5 mins and get a drink, chances are they will get bored with it by the time you get back.

I did switch gear, that's why I say they put me on autofollow repeatedly, and the spawn area for this mob was tiny so putting me on autofollow was kinda retarded to begin with, it was done to be annoying. There was nothing high enough to aggro any of us there. Lol, they were a 75 rng, 70 rdm, and 63 drkm and me as a 75brd/rng (needed wide scan to find the mobs, first time farming them) I don't think I could kill faster than them, especially when my fastest claim is elegy.

I hate it when JP"s or people who english is not a first language do this. And they can actually speak pretty good english. I can remember many a time I would have a conversation with people who forget you and then when you talk to them again couple months or weeks later in english they come back with the..... <I'm sorry I don't speak english> bullshit.

I know its not so bad but that shit really pisses me off, especially in real life when I see my friends do it to other people.

I find this a really rude, weak, and cowardly way to avoid people, and uncalled for. And if you heard what they say when they walk away, you'd know why. :lol:

That wasn't a flame, it was a compliment more than anything. WYS used to be a too whatever to boot people that really needed to be booted, if he's changed that, then I see great things for BoL.

First off, i would like to apologize on behalf of my ls-mate.
Second, im gonna agree and say yes, that answer usually
means you know you are doing something wrong.
So im really sorry this happened to you.

But please, dont say they. This was not an event where he
represented our ls. This is not behaviour our ls agrees with.
This is definately not us sticking our asses out there.
But i am still sorry it happened to you.
 
More of a sell out then a Douchbag, ppl who do this are prolly 1.fat 2.fat 3.fat. Also probally watch Anime 24/7 eating Pocki Sticks thinking they are all JP. Leaving "JP ONRY WWWW" in their search comment. Eat sushi and think they all leet speaking in JP. Other words another Faluzure.

Why would being JP or having a different native language make any difference? The whole point of the OP was about people who do speak English claiming they don't--regardless of where they're from or what other language(s) they may speak. :roll:
 
I admit i'm guilty of pretending not to speak english, but i only do it to noobs who are like >>Noob can i have sum gil? And i'll say{I don't speak any English} and that usally makes them go away.
 
I thought English was actually a required class in most Japanese schools..
 
Yah, I had that happen to me in Gusgen Mines. Some jerk decided to mine on top of me and when I told him to stop, he claimed to not speak English. I quickly found out that was a lie when his friend waved to him and told me the truth. I mined over him and then he started stalking me. I would change equip and he kept following me. However, this is not a bad thing. If you contact a GM they will do something about it. I contacted a GM and not 5 minutes after talking to him, the guy disappeared completely. I am guessing he got a suspension or temp ban. This is considered harassment and GMs will do something about it.

Even if it was a required class, Japanese are very shy and unconfident about their skill in English. I have found a majority of Japanese players can speak English well enough to talk back to me yet refuse to because they feel shame that it might not be the best or sound rude with improper grammar. They could speak English, but may not be willing to do so.
 
Too bad high-levels always go and kill Juggler Hecatomb for some reason. He's such a great anti-miner tool..someone follows you, pop on sneak, run right by... :roll:
