Down with the tyrant [Steam]

[Ryuhei]

A friend gave me his copy of HL: Episode One, but he registered it on his Steam account. Is there any way to somehow extract the game from the vice-like grip of Steam? Or some easy patch, or crack I can use?

Get his account info.

I gave my Steam acct info to my boss so he could play my copy of HL2; not only did he play HL2 (installed from CDs) but he was also able to download and play a copy of Sin: Episode 1 which I originally bought on disc.
