Nielsen ratings say otherwise.
More people watch house than scrubs, that obviously means it's better. Scrubs isn't even ranked in the nielsen ratings. If it was so good, why don't people watch it? (hint: because it's not as good as House).American Idol has topped their list for the last 3 years, and we all know what a quality piece of television entertainment that show is. >.>
He said "Scrubs is greater than House" not "Scrubs gets better ratings than House". Try again.![]()

The scrubs camp loves to ignore the only truely objective comparison between the shows, because it proves how scrubs is getting owned by a cripple.
This is by far the stupidest ongoing qcdn argument. Give it a rest already, who gives a shit which show you like better? I'd rather watch firestreak post in a topic about the xbox 360 than see another scrubs v house topic.
Personally no, but then I think all reality TV is stupid. That doesn't mean that it's a worse show(and obviously based on the ratings it wouldn't be considered as such), it just means I hate reality shows, so I don't like it by default. Personal preference is completely subjective, nielsen ratings aren't. That's why the scrubs camp says they're useless, because scrubs doesn't hold a candle to house in the ratings and while they may like scrubs better, it's blatantly obvious that they're in the minority.Ok, do you think American Idol is better than House then?
House must be the superior show because I endorse it, and as we all know, I am perfect in all ways.
House > head lice > Scrubs
American idol has a larger demographical audience then house. Everyone can watch American idol because it current, new people and effects someone life. Unlike scrubs or house. Also I don't see the nightly news post the newest highlights from house or scrubs, so that must tell you something.Ok, do you think American Idol is better than House then?

So to you, House is the obviously better show because it's higher on the nielsen ratings. But when asked about American Idol:
Contradictions galore: In your previous statement, you imply that if it's higher on the ratings list, it's a better show. American Idol is higher on the list, but you imply that you don't count that because you don't like "reality TV". So you're combining both personal preference and ratings.
Might be a higher rated show (American Idol/House), doesn't necessarily make it the better show (Firefly/Scrubs).

It's only contradictory if you don't read what I actually said. Personal opinions are subjective(hint: that means they vary from person to person), nielsen ratings aren't. I don't like American Idol, because I hate reality programming as a whole, that doesn't mean that it's not good, just that it's not for me. That's just further proving my point(which Tim spammed on the boards, thank you Tim for supporting House, I knew you'd come to your senses), to me subjectively, House is better than scrubs; it's also objectively better, because far more people watch it than scrubs. So to you, House is the obviously better show because it's higher on the nielsen ratings.
