Dragon Quest IV, V, VI Remakes for NDS

Others are kind of hard to find atm, but if you can get ahold of DQ8 for ps2, that's a fun game, DQ7 for psx was fun too, just longgggg.

But yeah, I enjoy the DQ series more than FF too, hope these DS remakes are announced for an NA release >>
 
I cant waaait for DQ9 for DS! Online co-op sounds like it will be really fun, and the game itself looks insane! Cant help but wonder if DQXI will be a PC/PS3/XBox360 MMO though xD

But yus I cant wait for these remakes! And all FF remakes are fully welcome too! (FFVI in 3d would be lav :D)! Akira Toriyamas artwork is purdy :) its true in a lot of ways it looks the same as all his work, but really its just the style he does it, that is his trademark and its cool :D Hopefully this will spark something and they will finally finally remake Chrono Trigger in 3d ; ;

I recommend getting DQ: Swords when it comes out (or at least renting it) if you like the DQ series, its really short but its short and sweet :D

the way SE has been goin with FF remakes for the DS and the new DQ9 being on it exclusively... i wouldn't be surprised to see ff5 and 6 remade in 3d
 
I don't doubt they will, after all SE said they had interests in remaking FFIV, V and VI after III was so successful, and FFIV is already coming, plus remakes of DQIV-VI, plus they trademarked DQII, III and VII, so they may be coming too.

DQVII was a pretty huge game lol... i'd be surprised to see that fit on a DS cartridge

Didn't necessarily say it'd be on DS, but you'd be surprised on what they can fit on those DS cards :P DQVII was a huge game though, but with DQIX, ASH, and other various titles coming out on DS, it wouldn't surprise me, and they look like fairly huge games too.

lol dual carts would be hard to code for, how would you get 1 piece of data over to the next when its ready? xD I mean the system would need to stay on... and removing a cartridge from a DS causes a pretty black screen with the sound looping >.>;;
 
Maybe a password system like they used in Golden Sun 1/2? It used your current game/characters/lvls etc.
