Yesterday I made a random attempt to maybe return to FFXI, but it didnt take long to realize it hadnt changed at all. People still complain about farmers, people fued non-stop, People defect LSs on a daily basis, people shout fight in big cities, prices are still outrageous. FFXI at one time was a good MMO, but the community suffered a non-recoverable blow. I guess I figured maybe after nearly 7 months of retirement that things might have changed.

In short, tho I did mean to return to FFXI, I have realized its still just as bad, if not worse of a game as when I left it. For those who hate me I guess you'll be happy to learn I will never return to FFXI. For my friends I wish you the best of luck, and if you get sick of it come visit me. Well in short note Wb, Just Remember is a game,
 
Pfft...drama is in everything in life, and there will be never any escaping it. The larger the community, the more drama.
 
You can't tell me WoW doesn't have it's share of drama. I think the main difference is because all the community is crammed into jeuno while WoW is split into the 2 islands and most people are out doin things instead of being bored in one crammed city.

I tried to play WoW, couldn't stand all the kids, the only reason I play this game is because I found a great gruop of people to hang with.

Meh, I just find FFXI to have an over excess of drama lol, I really dont even play WoW that much b/c you can go on for an hour and finish something, in FFXI thats not possible lol

I do miss everyone tho, and thats why I tried to come back, I guess we'll see what happens, since I already paid for the month ._.
 
The best thing to do on this server is find a great group of people that you like and stick with them. pretty much anyone that i come across and find is an interesting person that is great to talk to i add them to my friends list. To me it doesn't matter if they are the greatest at their jobs they play or that they don't have the best gear. Its the fact that they play the game for fun with a certain spark that compells them to excell at what they do without being an ass is what i look for in my group of friends. in short this game will be best you make of it. you surround yourself with negativity then you will have a negative experience and vice versa
 
you haven't been gone for 7 months O.o gotta be like. 3-4 months I think.. then again.. I could be wrong.. I should prolly go check the time of your goodbye thread XD

anyways.. I think it's not every server.. our server just seems to blow with people :|

I left October 5th 2005, came back a month later, gave everything away for a day, then left again for til March 15th, 6 months and 10 days I guess lol. In Dog years thats like 7 years!
