Dream Concert <3

The Cure or VAST

If by Vast you mean Visual Audio Sensory Theater, I have to say after their first album they totally went down the crapper. Their first album rocked, and when their second album came out I was disappointed I threw it out after trying to listen to it for a week

Now if you wanted a rocking concert a Nine Inch Nails / Tool concert would realy rock the house.

(I just saw NIN for the first time on the 6th and they totaly rocked the house. After waiting 12 years to see them I definately was not disapointed.)

(Can't wait to see The Mars Volta tomorrow)

I did get to see A Perfect Circle opening for NIN, it's not quite Tool but it's close enough. :P I've also seen Marilyn Manson open for NIN, that was a kickass show.

The one band I've been dying to see since High School is Cake. Every time I've had a chance to see them, something else got in the way. Most painful example was the Guinness Oyster fest 2001- it's a free admission festival, that took place literally 3 blocks from my apartment at the time in downtown Chicago. Cake was headlining on the final Saturday of the festival. I couldn't go because a friend of mine had a wedding reception that night. (They'd eloped in Florida 2 weeks prior, and just had the party for the IL people that night). ;_;

Led Zepplin

Amen to that!!! No doubt in my mind.

Right before John Bonham died, they were coming to Chicago. The only way you could get tickets to their concert at the time was from a coupon type thingy in the Chicago Sun Times (been awhile, I'm 98% sure it was the Times and not the Tribune). Anyway, we had just gotten the letter saying we had our tickets coming when John Bonham died, so I never got to see them in concert. I don't have many regrets in my life, but this was definitely one of them.
