Dream hats?

haven't done it yet.. but the dream hat +1 was part of last year's xmas event.. they may have allowed people to buy it now this year, haven't been on yet
 
Well, reason I ask for the hat is that I've seen people running around with Dream Hat +1's with the timer ticking and 1 charge for the cookie. So that makes me think they just got it, cuz whenever I've seen another Dream Hat +1 earlier in the year, the timer is always at 0.

Just something that caught my attention.
 
You can use the hat every day and get cookies, it just has a cool down of 24 real hours. I haven't seen anything for getting the HQ this year, so I think they just have it from last year, I still have mine.
 
This is what I've heard. You literally put the hat somewhere in your moghouse thru layout and your moogle will turn it into a +1 after 24 hours cuz he found a present under the tree. Something like that is how the story goes.

That was only if you had your "fame" among the children maxed out. Last year, it was by trading presents to whatever little child you could. I think it only worked if it was at your home country, but I never finished it so I never got the +1.
 
Yeah it's from last year's events, allows you to make bum cookies once every 24 hours. What does the Dream Robe +1 do?
 
Just got my dream hat+1 earlier this morning, had all 3 trees put them in my mog house via layout last night, and this morning my mog found a rare/ex special present under my windurstian tree(I'm from windy) and used it outside of my mog house and it popped a firework and gave me dream hat+1 in my inventory, so yea you can get the dream hat+1 this year. I've heard this year you don't have to get kiddie joy, some people got the r/ex item just by having it in their mog house setup and waiting til after JP midnight, but smilebringers are in game anyways, cept you can't buy gifts gotta wait to get another after each Vana'Diel day, but I didn't screw around with the smilebringers and got the dream hat+1 anyways. For the dream robe+1 the stats are 3 def and enhances effect of selbina milk, albeit the "enhancement" is from 40 hp total regen to 45 so not that big of an effect, but the milk is cheap and great to reuse.
 
That's weird. I've had all three trees in my house for like two days, before anyone here said you had too, since I thought it would be cool, and I still haven't found any presents.
 
Odd. I just walked into my Mog House after going to all three countries and giving crap out.

Ok it went like this, started off in home country Sandy, brought lots of smiles to the point the guy said "The children love! Even I think you're great!"

So I teleported to Windy, did the same thing for the kids and got the same message.

Teleported to Bastok, rinsed and repeated, got same message.

Got back home, talk to the guy again and he said "You have the children bursting with glee! Stupendous job!"

I started running to my Mog House in Port San'Doria and gave the last 7 fireworks I had away to some random NPC kids.

Walked into Mog House to deposit my santa gear and my Moogle says:

"Master! I have something to tell you, kupo! Look what I found underneath the Windurstian holiday tree this morning, kupo! It has been wrapped and everything! I wonder who it could be from, kupo!"
Obtained: Special present.

I opened it, got a cool little Santa Claus firework and checked my inventory for anything else special. Dream Hat +1 obtained.

Edit: Just wanted to point out that I had been in my Mog House about 30 min earlier, so it wasn't like I hadn't been there all day and the present was waiting for me.
 
Heh didn't do any of the joy to kids crap and still got it, must be random if moogle finds a special present under the tree.
 
Its because you are a noob max. Why they would waste a hat+1 on a pld is beyond me... :P It'd look much better on a Taru blm ^^
 
Oh yea, real funny. I'll remember that the next time I party with a blm and he casts ancient magic.
