i know drg's can solo well post 60

i never knew they had the potential to solo pre 60 tho

ya you can solo your way to 75 but it's rather slow and boring IMO seeking for PTs wasn't that bad and it gave me time to farm or solo or do both at the same time on the bad days but there were days where I'd go from one PT to the next never seeking more than 1 min at a time and now I've gotten nearly all of my merits through merit PTs on drg

to answer your question yes you can solo pre 60 just your healing breaths activate at 1/3 hp instead of 1/2 hp so you're better off sticking with mobs that have no strong special attacks and are easy prey or decent challenge if you want to be safe.

It can be done for sure. I have a friend who is doing it atm, he's probably 68 or 69 right now. I bet he has a crap ton of seals too. I think ladykiki had 1,000 Kindred seals when she got done. So it is certinally do able and has its advantages and disadvanages ofcourse.

Ladykiki is living proof of soloing Dragoon to 75. :biggrin:

Took her a long time though! Best part of a year... It's a nice big achievement to have I think. I've soloed Puppetmaster to 60 so far, plan on taking it to 75, though that job is a little more flexable in terms of solo style. I think as long as you can smash through any Easy Prey mob, with no downtime needed, you can solo anything to 75 (in good time). (Providing you've found a way to do it).

++ As Dragoon, you can grant yourself a speed + dmg bonus by fighting mobs weak to Peircing (Birds+bats) thus speeding up your exp intake overtime.

It takes time yep, but if you are smart about which mobs you choose, you can cut that time down by a lot and even get more exp than many PTs.

Sorry for late reply, I've been around the country (UK) getting some business sorted out.

I soloed to 75 on EPs/DCs even past 60. To sum it up you're looking at 3000 exp a day (I use my band). At 60, you can do the ENM60 Pulling the Strings for 2000 exp per 5 days. And if you can find a static group, run an escort for a further 600-1400 odd EXP a week. All the EXP adds up eventually and pays off and you level up. That's how I looked at it. I roughly spend 2 odd hours a day soloing. (Rather than spend 6 hours soloing that is, you'll just get burned out)

I had roughly 800 Kindred Seals when done. The other 320 odd came from soloing BST to 75. (I've spent some tho, not a lot, but only a few, so I only hace close to 1000 now).

Just a bit of patience and not a sense of urgency to get to 75 should last you through. I admit it is a bit boring though, not for everyone. But I couldn't really party.

Your wyvern will love you too no matter how bad your gear is :biggrin:. (i.e. it doesn't cost much to solo DRG either)
