I know many job/sub combos are really awful to use in exp pty but you discredit combos that actually have a chance and havent even truly been field tested. I'm so sorry your stuck inside this tiny box where only melee subs will make you feel secure.

But then again, hey who am I? I'm just Brin....I dont even have a single job at lvl 75 yet...so what do I know? I think leveling nonstop is idioc....i must be crazy. I only wait for a pty for about 5 min.....but...wait...I'm DRG...thats impossible!! I ranked as the highest DRG in Merphiated Mountains....but...no...wait, i'm a gimp DRG....i r teh suxxorz. I dont have a scorpian harness? but OMG i've been out to sea more than I have been in game so I dont have time to farm but when I do I make sure I farm before I pty so I can have good equip.......go figure. And lets not forget, I want to try DRG/WHM in an exp pty cause I can see the possiblities it can provide........OH NOOZZZ!!11!!1

I have been playing this for a long time and never ppl call me arrogant. People who knows me knows i am a humble player who loves helping and loves to make myself silly (check lame signatures) with pathetic English. (Yes i am an asian unlike you english speaking people)

I stand firm with my arguement in this whole subject. Noting that WS: Polearm are weak compare to other WSes and DRG sj Mages makes a PT inefficient. Views regarding about "Versitility" should only imply to non-exp stuff and non-bcnm.

I remember when i was a 73 n00b entering my first dynamis. asking my most highly respectable player name Keep a DRG... "What do you normally SJ in dynamis??" His reply was WHM and i said "ooo.... That's interesting" He asked me then "How about you?" I reply "Nin" He laughed at me saying "You n00b... you don't want to die in dynamis" and I said "yea, SJ Nin will give me a higher chance to survive ^-^" and we just laugh. We know that versitility applies to this and your responsibility here is based on your SJ.

I don't care you are a top DRG in ballista. That does not proof that you are wise in regards to this arguement. If ballista involves 6 ppl and you are the only DRG and your team consist of good members, you can be top. Well, again, I couldn't be bother whether you are top or not top. I go ballista to hunt down ppl like Doumoon and he hunts me back ( :twisted: ). And after Ballista, we just laugh and join another to hunt each other again.

Now, you oppose my arguement about Drg/whm in exp pt. Proof me wrong. If you can get 5-6k above, I will bow down to you and acknowledge your ideas. For this long period of time, I have been discussing about the issue in regards to DRG, what should we do, equip and such? Discuss the meaning of "Versitility" with many people and our ideas always conclude the same. To me, seeking knowledge is a great thing and it is never ending. If I know something I share. However ideas based on experience and past discussion, if one disagrees with it, I will stand firm with my idea until i am proven wrong.

After this whole crap, you can talk to me through tell or here to proof to me wrong. If you want me to come follow your exp pt, if i have nothing to do, i will follow and observe.

Here, i end by telling you to proof me wrong.
And Davio, come as PLD and i can ensure you, you will die hard by skilled DRGs (solo) in ballista. We are not weak :p
 
It's not what "seems" best for the party, it's what actually "is" best for the party that counts. They are staple subs because that's what maximizes your performance.

MNKs don't NEED to counter ranged attacks. Although, imagine if they gave us Catch...
 
Point is.I had a 200k body armor at that time... and if u think armor should be up to level then why levle 70 mages wear a level 25 ring? You should really get an enhancing sword... vermillion set and the astral earring/ring set.Also should have kirin's pole and all that stuff otherwise you are GIMP.
