Drinking games!

Well back in the days of MaliciousIntent we had a drinking game that we used to play while in linkshell xp parties.

It is a spinoff of the card game called "Drink Bitch"
It starts by designating a dealer and determining who is going first. Once you have the order its time to start calling the rolls.
In the card game you start with red or black.. when doing it on FFXI using random we call out even or odds. If you get it right you get to choose higher or lower than the first number that was randomed. If you get this one right as well you move on to the final catergory which is whether or not the number will fall inside or outside of the 2 previous rolls. If you get this one correct then it moves to the next persons turn.

If at any time you get a guess wrong you start over at even or odds and take a drink. The game never really ends. And typically our parties would end when someone who was having a bad set of randoms got too drunk to play and passed out or something close to that.

This game has caused a few mornings of waking up wondering how my char got a couple levels...if you ever walk by a party with me in it and u see a ton of randoms going off.. yea were getting smashed.

Oh and at any time if the same number is randomed as has already appeared everyone in the game finishes their drinks... only happened once.

You and I need to have a talk in game. =P

Asshole was always a popular one, also Hockey and Bullshit Pyramids.

Hockey - pretty basic card game, even teams, typically 4 or 6 people. All cards are dealt out, and you try to play a card that the person after you doesn't have. If you play the same card as the person before you, it's a goal, and the other team all drinks until the person across from them snaps their fingers.

Bullshit Pyramids - Everyone is dealt 4 cards, they look at them once and then turn them face down. A pyramid of cards is made, and starting from the bottom going up one card at a time is flipped over. Bottom level is 1-2 drinks, each level is more than the previous. Any time a card is flipped over you can tell anyone to drink the number of drinks for that level. If they call bullshit you have to flip over one of your cards. If you flip a card that isn't the same number you drink instead, if you flip one over that is the same number then they drink double. After flipping over a card you are given another that you look at once and place face down.

Flip Cups, lol... we had a name we used to call it, but I forget it because someone called it flippy cups one day and we mocking called it that from that day on.

Then you just alternate. If you shoot, miss, and the ball rolls back to you and it does not hit the floor you get a shot behind your back.

We refer to this as the "Gentleman's shot" haha.

Also, I have always heard that the throwing version of the game is actually called Beirut, and as Kel said, Beer Pong is played with paddles. Guess thats just me though.

As for my favorite game, its very simple, sounds stupid, but has messed me up many a time, and is always fun...

It has a name, which none of us can ever remember, so we call it "The Ice cube tray game" (We are simple). Picture related...

What you need: Friends, an ice cube tray, and a quarter. And beer. Lots of beer.

Picture:
Black dots = Friends (or enemies)
Black dot with yellow dot = you
Ice cube tray (picture is exaggerated size for emphasis sake)

Take the quarter, with the tray facing the direction depicted, and bounce it into the cube tray. If it lands on the left(white), you give out that number of drinks, and get to bounce again. If it lands in the right side (Red), you take that many drinks, and your turn is over. If you miss, your turn is over. Tray and quarter are passed to your left, going clockwise around the table.

If a player makes five shots in a row, he/she gets to create a rule. Former and classic rules include but are not limited to:

Make moose ears before you drink
Drink all beers with 2 hands
Spin around in a circle before drinking
Pick on somebody: "Any time it lands in a 3-slot, Bill has to drink" (You will be receive payback for a dick move such as this)
Be creative!

Anyone failing to follow a rule created must drink again.

The game can be very fast paced, and actually a little harder than you'd think. Once the adrenaline kicks in, and the quarter starts flying, shit goes bananas. A larger group is usually better, because playing with 3-4 means you'll basically be straight chugging beer the whole time. While fun, that kind of ruins the premise of the game.

Try it out. I promise you'll like it.

Kings anyone?
2>you
3>me
4>Floor
5>guys
6>chicks
7>heaven
8>date
9>ryhme
10>never have i ever
Jack> Questions
Queen>catagorys
king>Make a rule
ace>WATERFALLLL!!

I think that is right, that is what we play with atleast. And yea time, people call it bayruit also. We just call it ruit for short. Its more of a east coast thing, mainly in maryland. Out here in the west they call it "BP, pong..." and other shit that gets on my nerves. So when i run the table i make them say ruit.

Mao easily the best drinking game ever. Beer Pong a close second though~

Since this is a FFXI board, someone needs to cover the Dynamis drinking game. (There's also a wonderful CoP drinking game out there somewhere, but I lost my bookmark.) There's many different ways to play it, here's one set of rules from a...Seraph shell I think it was.

Drink whenever:

* You enter Dynamis late
* Some one shows up late and wants to know if its too late to enter
* Some one fights a non-called mob
* Some one melees stones
* Some one solos a non-called stone
* Some one allows their pet to run rampant
* Mobs Pet pulls off a -ga spell
* Red Mage converts and dies
* Twice if a red mage converts and dies from DOT
* Three times if a red mage converts and dies from -ga elemental spell
* Relic Armor Drops
* Twice if its a free lot
* Wootz Ore Drops
* A PLD dies to 100 Fists
* Massive (20 or more) deaths due to Mijin Gakure
* Twice if its Astral Flow
* Puller sac pulls or dies while pulling
* Leaders call to check RR and food
* 100 Byne Bill, Montiont Silverpiece or Lungo-Nango jadeshell drops
* Some one goes AFK without announcing it
* NM Orc Charms multiple people
* Leave Dynamis early
* Time runs out and items are lost because someone forgot to pass
* Twice if items are lost and everyone passed

Also, if you're the puller/main sleeper/main tank/something important, you may want to wait til your next Bastok run to try this. It's fun, but getting your LS pissed off at you isn't so fun.
