Drive safely, and wear a seat belt...

Just like the title says, this is just a reminder to stay safe while driving. A few nights ago my friend Paul died in a tragic accident and likely would've survived if he had been wearing his seatbelt. Here is a link to the news article. I had known him since elementary school, and he was a great friend. It's the kind of thing you hear about but never think will happen to someone you know. If any of you are ever tempted to screw around in a car, just know even if you think you know what you're doing, anything can happen. I want everyone to just be safe and live long, don't cut your life short for a few quick thrills.

It's sad to see someone die because they didn't put on a seatbelt. I guess it shows a few seconds can save a life. :?

Hey Taurathar, i'm sorry to hear that bro. I know what its like to lose a close friend.

It just so happens that some years ago, i was in a car accident similar to that of your friend. I was driving far to fast for the road i was on, and ended up rolling my car a total of 4 times, landing on my roof in the ditch at the side of the road, all without wearing a seat-belt. Thanks to God's mercy, i survived. My only ailment from the event was a head-ache, which is now a recurring migraine that reminds me that i was lucky as all hell to live through such an event.

Anyways. I am sorry to hear of your loss, just know that it is in God's infinite wisdom that he took your friend into his care.
