Anyone else watching this new show on Fox? I actually think it's pretty good, Nathan Fillion is a damn good actor. I just hope it doesn't get cancelled like Firefly did.

Did it start already? I wanted to watch it (solely for Nathan Fillion) but I wasn't sure when it was on.
 
I watched the first three episodes and I'm almost to the addicted stage. I'll give it a few more episodes to be sure.

It's not to late to start watching it, what you have missed is exciting stuff, but not vital to understanding what's going on.

I'll help a little

The old guy racing with his daughter is terminally ill, the daughter doesn't know. He's also on meds that can make him act kooky/dangerously.

The contractor (Tully?) Had his wife kidnapped and is being forced to race to get her back, his parter, the blonde chick, had her parents killed by the race years ago.

The lady with the carseat in her car, she's a bit off her rocker and no one knows where her kid is but her. The chick with her is heartless and baby lady was supposed to have to kill her but added her to her team instead.

The young soldier and his pretty girlfriend - she has been erasing his phone messages calling him back to his unit to deploy

The two brothers in the pimp ride have a rich daddy and only just met each other.

I think that covers all the important people.

I'd never heard of the show until about a week before it started, but having so many Angel and Firefly alumni (Amy Acker got work!) involved made me give it a look.

I hope it lasts awhile, but it's the sort of show where you scratch your head and wonder How the hell are they going to sustain that storyline for multiple seasons?

If Prison Break can do it, I sure as hell hope Drive can. I'll have to download the episodes later
 
Funny you mention Prison Break, since I just got the first disc of Season One from Netflix and watched it the other day. I'm already hooked, and I'll be very happy when discs 2 and 3 arrive tomorrow.

The Drive character I'm most interested in so far is the young mother. She's so sweet and nice and you just know she's going to kill some people before it's over. She threatened the blonde chick with the hideous monobrow and then says "I hope you like caramel!"
 
All this series has done so far is make me want Firefly back ; ;
 
Just watched the first episode last night and I'd have to say, it's pretty awesome.

That's two shows on now that I like! Supernatural and Drive! I haven't had two must watch shows on in forever.... :D

If all they are going to do with the slot is show reruns of House, why not just run the remaining episodes? Do they really think running old House episodes is going to pull in more of an audience? Fucking Fox. What a bunch of dicks.

Ever since douche American Idol instantly became the most watched show ever, they have no patience for any show that doesn't immediatly show ratings greatness. (With the exception of War at Home. That shit is terrible, but somehow still on every Sunday.)

Fox is lookin' to get punched in the ovaries. ::shakes fist::
