Yeah, I wouldn't even get it if my old, broken hinged, brick DS finally croaks. I'd just get a used DS Lite for significantly cheaper.

I dismissed it too quickly, I guess. I traded in my older, fatter DS and bought a DSi today with a copy of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. I still have my DS Lite with the gimpy shoulder button, though.
After playing around with it, I like the D pad on this one a bit better than the DS Lite. It has a little more click and a little less slide to it.
I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying the camera. As much as I love gadgets, this is actually the first digital camera I've owned. The images are low-res and all that, but they're fine for my modest blogging needs.

Nah, it's still hanging in there. It opens and locks in to place fine, it just wobbles. because a piece of one of the hinges broke off when I accidentally dropped it picking it up.

The right hinge on my ds is broken off completely. The top screen can be moved at least 40 degrees from the bottom screen. The damn thing still works perfectly, lol.
Nice, the hinges on mine are in terrible shape, but not quite as bad as Rappa's lol. I applied some duct tape to the hinges. Also, the bottom of my screen is not flush with the setting, so it pops out a little lol, that's also taped down. Duct tape is a lovely thing. The thing works perfectly despite serious damage lol.
The funny thing is... the reason mine got messed up, lol. I like to play it laying in bed at night, and a few times I fell asleep playing games... I'd jolt awake a couple hours later and my hands would twitch big-time and put a lot of wear and tear on the hinges lol.
I'd say mine can move about 20 degrees.
Mine happened so long ago. I think I was trying to pull it closer to me by the lanyard when it was on my desk, and I didn't have it gripped right, so it just slid off.

I laughed out loud at this.
My DS is still in great shape however I have an extremely bad habit of chewing no the stylus so it has a bunch of bite marks on it. It won't stay in the slot on the back and I lost my replacement. I've yet to get a new one.
