Friend of mine uses DVD Fab or DVD decrypter to copy DVD's to his ipod; can probably use the same program to get them into a format the Zune can handle.

If you're looking for something that does not break the copy protections, and thus merely converts to an acceptable format, that is fine. To break copy protection is illegal -- as retarded as that may be. Can't do it here.
