This item is only 3.6 to 4mil if it was stolen then go farm do BCNM and other crap like that to get the gil buy one and send xgolden a SH +1. Now I understand this might not sound fair but its the price you are willing to pay if you give your account information out or you have a weak password that someone can guess with easy.

All I am saying is if it did happen and I know both of the people the barrower and the lender of the item and I do not think either of them would lie about this. But if you give your account information out to anyone you are taking responsibility for any action they take well on your account so if they steal an item that is not your give your account info to another person and they steal the item. The person that originally gave there account information out should replace the item.

Hmmm let me think about that nope if I "gave" a bum a dollar I would not expect it back. But then I have never had a bum ask me if the can borrow a dollar they have always asked if I can spare some change or if they can have a dollar. So what you are saying is if you ever lend someone some gear in the game no matter the price of the item. All they have to say is oh dam my account was hacked and they stole your item. And you will be like that’s cool here let me go get the gil and buy another one.

Yes it is stupid to lend equipment out to people but it’s also stupid it give your account information out. All I am saying is I think is should me the person who borrowed the item should replace it if they gave the account information out. Even if the people that he gave his account to he trusts with his life.

The vast majority of the flames on Dymond I have been reading in this flame have been utterly ridiculous. I've known Dymond for about a year and hallf and he would never steal from anyone.

You know what he wants you to know. You don't know if he would steal an expensive item if given the chance, you only know that he says he wouldn't steal.

But this is where trust comes in. I trust him enough to know he wouldn't steal. And knowing him or meeting him IRL really does not make a big difference. This type of occurance can happen online or IRL. You could know some one for 20 years IRL (arbituary number) and they could completely earn your trust and still do something behind your back and have you completely fooled. I'm not saying Dymond is guilt of that or not. I'm saying I trust his word cause I"ve never had to doubt his word cause he's not all bark like most ppl. From talking to him in FFXI and on the phone: I feel I can trust him and I believe him when he said it wasn't him.

Would you not do the same thing for a friend in this case?

Point: Trust is something earned, not freely given and once it's lost; you may never get it back.

My best friend of 13 years plays this game, I trust her with a lot. But I dont ever let her play on Davion unless I'm present and I dont play on her character unless she's present. I just dont let anyone touch my accounts like that. Period! Because greed can turn a best friend into a worst enemy and I dont want that situation to arise. For Dymond to trust Mrtaru with his account info, he opened the door of temptation and greed/deception (whatever).

Edit: Additionally, People only tell what they want to tell because of this: The yonly want to trust you with so much information. Once someone trusts you enough with the truth they will tell you what it is. That's just a fact of life. I'm willing to bet only a handful of ppl that know Dymond and spent time with him in real life so basically everyone is justifying their claims, accusations, etc with hearsay and the trust level they have with Dymond (whether they know him or not) Now what people decide to do with what they know is solely on them. I choose to trust Dymond as his friend.

Why is this thread still being posted on? Everyone knows what happened, and the only controversy is weather it was a good idea to give someone else his account info, and it obviously wasn't. Dymond is a cool guy, and he made a mistake. Xgolden, im assuming, is a decent guy, and he also made a mistake. Theres no moral to this story. Shit happens, people make mistakes and learn from them.

And all you people saying Dymond is a great guy, I know him from Real Life, singing his praises, this and that. Step up people, show us how great he really is and get the man's SH back.

Even if it was "someoneelse" on Dymond's account that stole the SH its Dymond's responsibility. The moron here isn't Xgolden its Dymond for lending out his account to people and thus having on of those people scamming Xgolden.

Step up to the plate, be a man and try to get his SH+1 back, if not replace it.

Well, I for one am glad this flame was posted. Yeah... the wrong person got fingered, but we all learned a valuable lesson. {Insert lesson here} Both x and dy sound like good players. But this Mrtaru guy needs to say something to defend his character.
