Well maybe I can help this lousy thread, while wondering whitegate I got a /tell from Dymond on Gotaru’s character. The /tell went something like “someone changed my password, I can’t get on Dymond”, so I did a /sea Dymond and he is in Zitah doing w/e. So I mentioned to him that his char is in Zitah and he should send himself tells…. He said the person is not responding etc. So I started spam telling that person until he/she finally answered, spamming guilt trips and false GM capabilities. Once the person started talking it was clear from how he/she responded that he/she was some random person whom imo had nothing to do with the initial crime. He/she kept trying to exclude him-/herself from the initial act, repeating stuff like “I didn’t steal anyone’s account” and “I didn’t change any password”, “The account info was given to me” etc. So I continued pestering him/her until he mentioned that the person he/she got the account info from was “Mrtaru” whom, if you don’t know already is a known account thief. I know this because this is not the first time I’ve had to spam someone/Mrtaru for allegedly stealing an account. The most notable occasion was a dear friend of mine Efforts the Bard, who for some reason gave Mrtaru his account info to do a mission or something along those lines for him. I remember seeing a naked efforts running through Jeuno, so I sent him a tell because he ran right by me without spam “/poking” or “/slapping” my char. After countless tells I got an Irate “fuck off” and some other grammatically incorrect phrases of displeasure, so I thought to myself wow wtf got into Eff long story short, the real Eff is able to access his account and is in a panic about all his gear and items GONE!... The bandit was very precise, but made a mistake, probably due to him hurrying… He sent his mule an item, but didn’t remove it from the deliv box or some shit… the mule belonged to Mrtaru, that and the simple fact that everything Eff owned was sold on AH by Mrtaru and his mule led us to believe it was Mrtaru’s doing. So after spam telling Mrtaru along with some other friends, HE CONFESSED sorta, he said and I quote “His drug addict brother (family member) was the person who stole Effs items to sell for drugs”…. Yea…. Right… Anyway lets get back on track, after conversing some more I convinced the “random person” to log off so Dymond can get on his Char, he insisted in logging in Jeuno (maybe to send stuff to someone or something). I asked him to log there and give me the password that Mrtaru gave him, he complied then I passed the info to Dymond. The bottom line is Dymond is not the type of guy to randomly steal someone’s SH+1 (imo). I mean the dude does ZM missions for random people, who does that? Call me naive but I honestly don’t think this was staged, if this was staged for a <4 mil item its retarded, split between 2-3 people?!?!?! I mean prices are low, but um they are not that low.
P.S. Mrtaru is the worst form of trash on this server anyone who steals accounts in my book is lower than any form of RMT. He isn’t even sophisticated, as in he doesn’t use any high-tech software or w/e… If you have to steal from people who consider you a friend to progress your char in Final “Fantasy” you my friend are a worthless waste of 2billion years of evolution. I trust these 2 people as Chiimi'd never steal anything off me, and Xephon is my housemate so if he ever did I know where to find him
