Jueno:25 (25pieces/6runs = 4.16/run)

Sandy:7 (7pieces/6runs = 1.16/run)

Bastok:45 (45pieces/6runs = 7.5/run)

Windhurst:31 (31pieces/6runs = 5.16/run)

B. Glacier:17 (17pieces/7runs = 2.42/run)

What the hell is going on in Sandy?
We have a thief knife also.
I'm curious to see how other shells are doing based on %.

Sandy has always been like that :\ you can see the drops on our website and ya.. it sucks

Perfect use to have some really nice stats on all the drops and a long history until the forums shut down. Anyone save that data by chance?

Perfect Ataraxia got a whopping 3 AF drops in Sandy last Tuesday... with a Thief's Knife. They all came in the last 10 minutes, and the third one, after being declared freelot, vanished into oblivion when time ran out (because corpses can't pass... sigh)

I'm used to seeing like 6-9 AFs in Sandy :|

Have your KOed people pull their internet plug at the last few minutes.

Well it was free lot so shouldnt matter too much.

Sandoria, 12 runs, 44 drops, 3.66/run
Jeuno, 11 runs, 53 drops, 4.81/run
Windurst, 14 runs, 51 drops, 3.64/run
Bastok, 13 runs, 93 drops, 7.15/run
Glacier, 9 runs, 24 drops, 2.66/run
Xarcabard, 1 run, 4 drops, 4/run

Total, 60 runs, 269 drops, 4.48/run

2 jeuno runs not counted in any of these results due to missing data. Also last two runs not yet in database so they aren't in this either. Also there is likely to be some error, but the results would change by .3/run at most.

How many drops people see in sandy is proportional to how many mobs they kill. Sandy isn't stingy. It's too easy to win while being one of the hardest zones to actually fight in, so people tend to skimp on extentions and kill counts.

The sandy low drop rate is a function of people suiciding triggers and skipping extentions. Half of our data includes a lack of a 30 minute ext. Actually, a lack of TWO thirty minute ext's. A basic, solid sandy run, which includes killing:
both alleyways (25 ext)
the choco house
the east and west gate NMs with their guards (25+25+10 ext)
the AH
The field to north sandy (30 ext)
The golem and his guard (30 ext)
Then farming your way north

Will net you around 6 relic pieces. Obtaining the last 30 minute ext to max out the zone would put the count near bastok. Again, the key is to not suicide anything (because it wastes time and lowers kill count) and to get those ext's.

Sandy is easy to win and hard to farm.

Never noticed a city drop lower then other citys. But bastok has always been many AFs cause its not hard to clear almost everything.

Just know xcabard has been 3 or 4 AFs in 3 runs. (1 winning, 2 farming without DL).

sandy's boss (golem) has no 30 minute extension and I don't ever remember seeing his pals having one. Unless you mean the one north of the AH but I thought you meant "The field to north sandy" for that one :\

You're right. Just the North field extention. And there's a 15 or something at the fountain. Geez how many times have I corrected the statement that the sandy win gives an ext myself >.<

hehe, I always wanna make sure we get the 25 minute extensions at the gate but it seems to always result in the entire gate being pulled, in which case we kill it all :P

You can also bazaar your hourglas in your bazaar. if you're dead and need to pass someone can just buy your hourglass which kicks you out.

Heard of that, added advantage is if some dumbass is afk at the end you can forcibly remove them that way. There's some sort of disadvantage to it but I forgot what it is.
the dumbass might put it in for a real amount of money, or make a glass copy, or both.

Or some SOB who gets outlotted on an AF could close his bazaar and buy out whoever outlotted him.

Yes, they'd get booted from the shell immediately, but they'd still be capable of doing it.

Or the day somone buys all the glasses to be a prick, or tries to get af2 by buying everyone who lotted or something
