Dynamis power

No matter how attentive you are, some things in game will get boring and repetitive enough that you don't pay attention closely the entire time. I know if I'm in xp party for hours on end I'll have the tv on too. I'll usually only half watch it because I usually play mage jobs and I have to pay attention for MB, or if I'm on rdm...well too much is going on then to watch tv too lol.

Granted I doubt I'd miss the multiple tells asking me to pass but I can definitely see how a person could. Especially playing a melee job in something like dynamis. I mean you don't even have to make skillchains or anything so I doubt there's enough going on to keep a person's attention; I would imagine it would get mind-numbing after a while and personally I'd probably pop in a movie to stay awake lol. Getting annoyed at someone that isn't paying attention is reasonable; threatening to boot them from ls and accusing them of stealing isn't.

I think that this comes down to a leader not trusting someone in their ls that they presumably knew didn't go around stealing randomly (if the leader thought something different they'd be stupid to have them in their dynamis ls) and then displayed a huge lack of trust in their member over something as cheap as a single coin. Personally I wouldn't have brought this to the flameboard like the OP did, but that's just my preference. However, I certainly would have dropped my pearl and told the story to everyone I knew. :)

this is the shit im talkin about, do you honestly sit there and pay attention to every single thing ingame and not get bored sometimes? i mean shit no one can expect to see every little thing, esp during a dynamis run

Welcome to Dynamis, where many try to skip out on food and many more don't pay attention and/or afk.

Now, while that sounds sarcastic, the truth is that that's a widespread problem - people don't pop food because they don't want to risk dying, potentially losing money, and because they don't pop food, people who DO pop food wind up dying more from grabbing horrible amounts of hate. This makes those people also not want to pop food due to the rest being paranoid (or just cheap).

This results in not many having food, which means MUCH slower kills further in Dynamis; kills go slower, drops more likely than not became somewhat less rampant. As kills become even slower as they work further in, it of course become even more boring; the fact that most zones have the more obnoxious mobs (i.e. BSTs and PLDs cluttering western Dynamis-San d'Oria) deeper in doesn't help this at all.

I just think the leader is freaking out over a rather minor incident. Should members pay more attention? It'd be really, really nice. But that's a different topic, really - he got a coin on accident, he returned it. There's no need to freak out. And if he spaced out after accidentally lotting something like relic or a 100c and seemed to be unresponsive to pass requests, just toss a BLM in the person's party to D2 them if you're so worried. It may seem mean but if you don't show some tough love, not only will they not try harder but you may very well lose out on someone getting something nice.

Way to bring up something that has nothing to do with this post. ... And i didnt ask what id get, i asked from grey how he distributed the lot.... Ya, thats totaly the same thing as asking which id get....Its funny to me that when you cant think of any logical point to make yourself...

"What i cant lot anything, why am i even here then?"

thats you at JoL.

This is the flameboard, logic gets checked at the door.

don't call someone a tard when you're the one on the short bus.

but i bet Tullboy is halfway to Tijuana by now with all that gil he made from the single o.piece...oh, wait, he gave it back, and that very night you say, will wonders never cease.

im gonna go ahead and point out that none of that proves that you didnt make it up. Im talking to aldiel right now in my exp pty. he says i asked who would get the drops, but nothing about me asking for them. nice try though. props.

Edit: quitita just agreed that i asked for nothing. Failure.

I have a few questions.

1. How did the coin remain in the treasure pool for 5 min? Was nothing else dropping at the time? Also I thought things only stayed in the pool for 3 minutes before dropping, but perhaps I'm wrong on that.
2. How could Tullboy have been with this shell for a year when he was doing runs with my dynamis ls a few months ago. he didn't do many, and left fairly quickly after starting, but even so if he was already a member of a dynamis shell and signed up for mine that really bugs me.

They also drop when the pool fills up. I stand corrected on the 5 min thingie then, just seemed a lot shorter of time before things auto-dropped, but then again maybe because things were forced to drop due to a full treasure pool.

Pretty sure items don't get shoved out of pool by new drops if they're Rare, EX, or lotted on.

1 coins do get forced out in dynamis even if lotted on, the only things that don't get forced out are relic armor and 100 coins.

My mistake. Maybe they had a mini-wipe or something, then? Either that or their luck dried up for a bit, only way I can see that the coin'd be up for 5mins. Though this' sortof irrelevant...

I haven't done dynamis in a very long time, going to be joining a shell at the beginning of march. But I do Limbus and ancient coins drop to other people all the time by mistake, and you can easily just trade it back to the ldr who was suppose to hold on to the coins.

I mean, it is kind of rude to threaten him like that, since there is uber lag like some had said. Even if he could've caught a glimpse of him to pass the coin, wouldn't it be too laggy and slow to look for that coin he accidently lotted just to pass it again?

I mean, come on, the dude is fighting trying to hit macros or whatever to help out with the fights for his shell, I'm sure he wouldn't have a chance to pass with all the lag and it'd be easier to just let it drop to him then trade to ldr later.

At least he did give the one mighty coin back to a leader, but I agree he had a right to leave the shell from lack of trusts from a leader and friend.
