Dynamis power

Yeah, the buttons are close together, and yes he could have "accidentally" lotted, but he was told to pass on the coin from the time he lotted to the time it dropped in his inventory. It takes, what, 5 minutes for an item to drop from the pool(not sure on time but I know it's not instant)? multiple people for 5 minutes telling him to pass on it and he ignored. That would a good reason to think he was trying to steal it.

Peace,
Shmed

Holy shit, you know I might be crazy but maybe, JUST MABYE he didn't notice...? Have you ever been in dynamis? It's mind numbing as fuck. Text is scrolling, orders are being given out, yeah you're pretty much dead man standing. Fact is, it's just one fucking bill, not a big deal no matter how you slice it. You want to lose your temper over something that small, that's your problem.

I agree with what Jum did. Seems to me by your actions alone, cowardice as they are, you deserved it. You came here to flame him less than 5 MIN after this took place..and you claim "I never meant for this to be a flame against Jummaji.." and yet here we are...fuck you you cowardly little boy. You cant even fess up to the fact that you were HOPING to ruin his rep and shell over this shit. Why didnt you ACCEPT his apology when he gave it to you after it happened...oh yeah...no mention of that was made was it? A MAN would have taken his apology and went on his business...but you not a man are you? Instead you come here...your what they call Passive aggressive...go see a counselor

Did this really take place? I was on the OP's side until this statement about the apology (first mention of an apology by the leader). If he did truly apologize, then I'm sorry, but you (the OP) are overreacting, and need to get over yourself. You will encounter lots of people who lose their temper in the real world. You can either deal with it, or immediately take it to heart, and cut all ties with these people. I bet you can think of at least a few times where you treated someone unfairly because of temper, I know I can.

Again, this is only if this is true that there was an apology.

Did you bother to read the posts in this thread? I think not. And as a matter of fact, I was in the run being questioned in this flame so stfu. It was my first run and it was havoc for me, but I still noticed all the messages for him to pass, the orders being given, and still did my job(blm so I don't just get to push the assist/atk macro). Not that hard to do einstein.

Leadership uses LS chat to give directions throughtout the fighting. If you are too ignorant or too lazy to pay attention to it then it's best you leave and not do endgame. Yeah you will miss a couple, but how could you not notice at least 10 different people telling you(by name) to pass from the time you lotted to the time it dropped? If you can't see all those messages then wtf are you doing in any kind of endgame activity.

Yeah, not something to lose your temper over, the leader realized that and apologized for it. Tullboy couldn't be man enough to accept the apology and instead he threw a hissy fit, tossed his pearl and ran to lolQCDN Flameboard to cry cause he was pissed off.

Peace,
Shmed

LoL man enough iif you only knew i'll prob be a bigger man then you'll ever be

You're all retarded.

ZING!

your blm your job is diffent you have pay more attension because you have know when the stones are coming in and what kind of stones. A war on the other hand is there just to hit what the tank is hitting not much attension is needed. It be like if you in a exp party, do you notice all the ls chat.. not likely.

Stop talking/typing.

Way to bring up something that has nothing to do with this post. And way to not actually know what happened. Ya, poor me, i accidentally did it to Antares's JoL, the first time i had ever even seen it. The only reason i was ever there was because grey asked me, knowing i had never even seen or, much less fought it. The leader of the ls didnt get mad at me. Youre right, it was incredibly stupid, and i apologized. And i didnt ask what id get, i asked from grey how he distributed the lots, seeing as the drops are pretty rare. Ya, thats totaly the same thing as asking which id get. And still, none of this has anything to do with the thread. Its funny to me that when you cant think of any logical point to make yourself, you bring up anything else you can think of to make yourself seem right.

Good job.

I cannot believe that people are actually arguing against this guy. If he was trying to pass, in a laggy Dynamis situation, which is what i have taken from this, the lot and pass button are pretty close together i'd say...

Cast Lot
Pass

After passing, over, and over again, it could be a simple mistake to accidentally lot something and not notice. Take every person that has ever posted here about buying something for 10x the gil it was worth on the AH, or bought the wrong thing on the AH. Are they idiots too? It seems like an honest mistake. He gave the shit back. There is no "Trust issue". He said he was in the shell for a year. You dont even get like a one "fuck up allowance". He didnt steal your gear, he didnt steal your money, get over it. Grow up. Anybody that thinks otherwise is an asshat

You really dont have to pass every coin in dynamis. Theres a good chance leaders are lotting them, making you doing anything to them unnecessary. But lets look at the circumstances.

Jum gets pissed with good reason.

Tull lots a coin, and while fighting, and obviously being at his comp/ps2, and while many people are telling him to pass for 5 minutes, does nothing, and it drops on him.

Jum, assuming he tried to take it, tells him if he does it again, he'll bot him.

Tull is offended, and though he "respects" the shell, he leaves from lack of apparent trust.

Jum, somewhere, apologizes.

Tull writes an obvious flame about it.

Tull overreacted and wrote a flame about a small instance, and jum overreacted and threatened him when assuming he tried to steal a coin. The difference is, Jum apologized, and admited he overreacted. The difference is, Tull started something on the flamboard, which was obviously going to inflate to something beyond the obvious, and probably ruin jum's credit, and still hasnt apologized at all. I guess im an asshat for noticing that.

(But i am, indeed, an asshat for unsaid reasons.)

edited cause i suck at spelling apologize.

Chat filters, set party and linkshell to hold. If you haven't been able to figure that one out by 70+ then something is wrong.

I rarely miss anything in Dynamis even in th midst of sleeping multiple mobs, hasting/refreshing, and debuffing. And if I do miss something it's not hard to hit the + a few times and catch it that way. The fact that the OP lotted without noticing, missed multiple requests to pass the coin, and then didn't even notice he had the coin until he was sent a /tell from the ls leader makes me question whether he has the attention span to be doing dynamis in the first place.

if your so perfect at everything in final fantasy maybe you should take your god given talent and put it to use in real life instead of bragging on the flameboard about how your so fucking attentive

Yes, blm's have to be more attentive during Dynamis. Our main duty is killing the stones in the right area to help the team(HP/MP stones). In all honesty though, if a War's job is as easy as you say there is absolutely no reason not to see the text.

You're right, I don't notice all the LS chat when I'm in an EXP party. The reason is because the task at hand doesn't involve the LS. Now when I'm doing sky/hnm's, I watch both very closely along with doing my job as both are needed to be effective. I will do the same in Dynamis now that I'm doing that. IMO to be a good and effective team member in events like this, you have to be aware of everything going on around you, wether or not it's your job. If you don't know what's going on around you it's hard to make quick decisions if something happens to go wrong.

I never said I was perfect. In fact I said that I do occasionally miss things. But there are many, many features in the game to help people NOT miss important things. Chat filters set to hold, ability to change font colors, chatlogs divided into sections that you can select which you need to scroll back through. These are all basic game components that people should have figured out by the time they get to Dynamis levels.

And thank you, I do use my god-given talent at being fucking attentive in real life. I also choose to actually PAY ATTENTION to a game that I enjoy when I'm not out there saving the world using my super-powers of listening to what people are telling me and noticing what my surroundings look like.

Thanks Fellina, needed a good new quote for my sig, lol.

Hell yes its boring but you HAVE to pay some sort of attention. This sounds like they wiped as soon as they started so it wasn't even that long into dynamis run to where it does get insanely repetitive. If you aren't paying attention in the beginning you won't be later. This is how wipes happen because some dumbass isn't paying attention and is resting when he/she isnt suppose to or attacking the wrong mob etc. If you don't see people telling you to pass in chat log for five minutes then you really are being a hazard. I do agree one coin is stupid to get pissy about but I think it's more of the not paying attention part.

BTW, this is what happens when people don't pay attention in dynamis:

bardsroundletdu7.jpg

I was very close to missing that item because people were afk / being tards. Luckily we managed to get a blm into the last afker's pt and get him D2'd before it was too late.

No matter how attentive you are, some things in game will get boring and repetitive enough that you don't pay attention closely the entire time. I know if I'm in xp party for hours on end I'll have the tv on too. I'll usually only half watch it because I usually play mage jobs and I have to pay attention for MB, or if I'm on rdm...well too much is going on then to watch tv too lol.

Granted I doubt I'd miss the multiple tells asking me to pass but I can definitely see how a person could. Especially playing a melee job in something like dynamis. I mean you don't even have to make skillchains or anything so I doubt there's enough going on to keep a person's attention; I would imagine it would get mind-numbing after a while and personally I'd probably pop in a movie to stay awake lol. Getting annoyed at someone that isn't paying attention is reasonable; threatening to boot them from ls and accusing them of stealing isn't.

I think that this comes down to a leader not trusting someone in their ls that they presumably knew didn't go around stealing randomly (if the leader thought something different they'd be stupid to have them in their dynamis ls) and then displayed a huge lack of trust in their member over something as cheap as a single coin. Personally I wouldn't have brought this to the flameboard like the OP did, but that's just my preference. However, I certainly would have dropped my pearl and told the story to everyone I knew. :)
