Dynamis power

Just so I have this straight. You lotted a coin in dynamis, accident or no. You ignore several requests for you to pass which shows either a) a lack of attention paid or b) a lack of understanding of how filters work c) a genuine theft attempt.

I really don't think it's c, but a and/or b shows that you lack the basic communication skills nec for some of the advanced tactics, making you not only a hinderance, but possibly a danger as well.

You also throw a hissy and drop the pearl at the first sign of trouble.

If I were 'dynamus power', I'd say good riddance.

In my LS, people accidentally lot on things sometimes. It happens. With all the lag flying around in Dynamis, it's damn near impossible to avoid it 100% of the time. It's happened on coins, items which go to the LS Bank, even AF once or twice. When it happens though, the leaders simply ask what happened.. and usually "Oh damn, lag... my bad. Passed." is the response. After that, they give a simple reminder to be careful when passing items, since lag is a bitch.

If one of my LS leaders told me they'd kick me out after lotting a 1 coin by accident... I'd be pretty pissed as well. That kind of response over a simple mistake doesn't say much for how the shell is run. If you were in a war, would you want your platoon leader to be a jumpy, paranoid guy who freaks out? Bad analogy, yea, but not too far off.

Maybe the event wasn't as serious as people think, but at the very least, that kind of response would make me question the leadership a bit.

I may have missed it, but I don't think he ignored any requests to pass it. The leader asked him "If he liked the shell" and then told him that he would be kicked if he lotted another coin. Having lotted something and not realized isn't the worst thing in Dynamis, it's easy to miss a lot with all the battle spam.

He was repeatedly asked to pass on the coin. From the time he lotted to the time it dropped.

It's not in the OP. Check post 25 on the 3rd page.

Even with ALOT of filters on, it's still laggy in Dynamis. Mistakes happen and they can be fixed should they happen.

I doubt alot of people DO pay attention to the chat log, when they are fighting especially. Rather I think those that are not fighting such as the mages can get a better grasp of what's being said in the LS or pt chats.

I've lotted on coins by accident and I always pass when I saw that I made a mistake. If I didnt correct it because I already "Thought" that I passed it and it came to me then I immediately give it back to the leader.
Sometimes when the lag is so bad, it actually takes a few seconds for it to register if you passed or not.
At most it took 5 seconds for it to register for me, and by that time people can be done "passing" without knowing they made a mistake.

If you are leading a shell for such as dynamis, the leader should be calm enough to deal with ANY situation, and give out instructions when needed.
They have to think logically rather than emotionally and most of all, put some trust in his/her own members.

There's a dynamis ls called Dynamis Power?

I still think it's dumb to react so strongly to someone you know about a freaking 1c... It's entirely possible he wasn't paying attention to party/ls chat closely enough to see people were yelling at him to pass.

Everyone was already pissed because people were not doing theyre jobs correctly on the run, probrably due to a number of new recruits, but we started out horribly. Jumanji was incredibly pissed before he lotted. He didn't go off on Tull right away, he told Tull to pass along with at least 10 other people. When it dropped to Tull cause he still hadnt passed when he was being continously told to Jumanji asked if Tull liked the LS Tull said yes. Jumanji asked if he wanted to stay in the LS and guess what. Tull said "I don't know, I have friends in Invictus"

The Plot thickens... muahaha.

One thing I'll say about Tullboy.. he was in a G1(I think it was G1) item party with Shmedly and I a long long time ago. A scroll of Freeze dropped. Tullboy lots it. Almost everyone in the party tells him to let the items drop to whomever unless its a G1 item... He goes on about how he's leveln BLM and needs the scroll.. A day later, Tullboy had sold said scroll on the AH... So this lotting "mishap" in Dyanamis doesn't suprise me one bit.

Also, I've never did dynamis b4, but as I understand it, by singing up your going in knowning your going to die, and die alot sometimes. So I'm suprised that the leaders were so pissed off becuase of a wipe... I mean deaths happen, get over it.

My 2 Gil, Carry on.

Some people never change.

It wasn't because we wiped that pissed the leaders off, its why we wiped. The wipe was easily avoidable people were just dozing off because it was loljeuno and not doing theyre jobs, the overconfidence in everyones attitude caused a wipe. That is why the leaders were so pissed that we wiped.

Yes, Ny deaths happen, but it was a full alliance wipe and we had only done the first pull of mobs. The second pull came and destroyed us. Ya know I had forgotten about that day in Eldieme, that's a good laugh. It was a coffer key hunt and not G1 bro'...

Peace,
Shmed

1) dynamis chat log is very important, and should always be read. 2) its not "inconcievable" that some loser would try to "accidentally" get a coin. 3) you shouldnt be in the treasure pool at all, unless lotting on a piece of af. "Accidentaly" lotting anything in dynamis is far-fetched enough to believe it was on purpose. 4) Based on what you did, anyone would have decent reason to not trust you. and finally 5) you cant even try to say it wasnt an intended flame if you posted it on the "flameboard"

Maybe he wanted to look at a piece of AF and read the stats, or see who had lotted what. Viewing the treasure pool is no big deal, and as was said before, its not like he even kept it. If it was a 100coin, or something of utmost importance, it would be different. Most people could wipe their ass with an O.Piece and not give two shits about it afterward.

If youre that petty and care that much about a fucking single coin, id hate to be in your Dynamis shell...

Because OBVIOUSLY its about the coin's worth, and not the trust that comes with it..

Oops. Guess I skimmed over that.

Ah, I was gonna make a comment on the treasure pool thing, but ya beat me too it Tim.

In any case, this is pretty much a case closed. If he had taken a 100 coin or important AF and booked, I'd say other LS's should be warned(ala Jonson lol), but he didn't. Maybe even if he had kept the coin, which he didn't. Shit went down, he left, nothing really happened, end of discussion. Drop it and move on.

Like it or not, but people hound the treasure pool to see drops faster. Its not really something that wont happen. And accidentally lotting something in dynamis can occur easily when lagging a lot. Especially if you are trying to pass things.

It's all good man say what you want was accident its over now

but my point is while in there, you have to be retarted, or just dont care at all to lot on something and not notice. or notice when your ls is continuously telling you to pass for 5 minutes straight.

And I didn't argue your point. Just pointing out some flaws from your ideal dynamis behavior.
