Dynamis Xarcabard may 30th

Well everyone in our shell finally got all the theories and stratagems tonight, and right away the AF started dropping once we had them all.

1X Dark knight
1X Monk
1X Summoner
+
1x 100 coin

woulda been more but our run was cut short by too many mistakes!
Great rate drop rate tho!

we got BLM on the first pull, MNK on the third, and SAM on the fourth on saturday when we did xarcabard.

tbh, still think strategm has nothing to do with drop rate.

well, people say that stratagems still drop even if everyone has them, well i can say officially that they dont drop if everyone has them. Not a single dropped when we got them all, and we got more af this run...than well...ever in xarc!
believe it or not, i think it works!
we went into the glacier not long ago with everyone in the group with theories and we got alot of drops that night too, a few in the first pull!

My ls's first xarc had 4 af2s drop, (aka I think like no one had the stratagem), and we've traditionally gotten af2 in glacier on first pull (or 100c), lately not so much but for first few runs that first area always had af2.

I think it's all luck basically.

now that DEFINITELY isn't gonna work. stones drop the theories, you can't get AF off of stones. the only thing that could possibly do is give more 100c

But dont call it a stupid theory if u cant prove it doesnt work yourself.
Does no harm in having the whole shell keep some useless scrolls in storage that arent worth using for such little exp anyway!

Just to reiterate, as was mentioned in the previous thread, any hopes you ever had of this being anything but a superstition were ruined when they patched torque-type stacking. You can get a wind torque to not drop by having a wind torque on you. That used to mean something else would drop. Not any more.

Not only are they separate classes of items, unlike the torques, even if they were, they fixed it. A long time ago. Fact. Anything else? You do you. You don't have the right to not look silly in front of people though when you do silly things. Not everyone is going to say, "hay guyz tat gr8 idea!"

It's not. Good times, sure. Yay xarcabard. Congrats on the NM kills. This is no different than two strangers in a pickup party going on and on about how great their millionaire desk and mandy buds are for farming bees with aeroga. Gets a little grating, and eventually you feel like bashing taru mages with a brick if it keeps up. Can't help it. 3 xarc drops=and?
