Earn what you have

Personally I don't even care about subs. I look for the jobs that I need to fill the party then ask what WS they can use. Everything else is unimportant.

Sadly rank means nothing anymore... Once it did, but now...

It used to mean you took the effort to gain the rank, that you were serious about propelling yourself farther. I still wish had the same effect it used to.

I've said this often, that things like that should be earned...

..and then my higher level friends get pissed when I don't want them to hand me things. It doesn't make sense >.<!?

Also meant to add I know I sure as hell worked to get mine, rank 10 used to mean something. It used to be, if you saw someone with a rank beyond 6 you'd actaully be impressed.

If anything rank still does have some use in determining a few things.. for instance it seems like gil sellers have the flu when it comes to getting beyond rank 3.

Save those that managed to get sky, anyway.

I hate getting invites from anyone, period. I don't care what rank they are, if i don't know them i'll usually pass (leveling NIN, DRK takes anything lol) unless i'm specifically seeking a PT.

Reason being, morons rank 1-10 don't know what the fuck a SC is and who fits in where. It really pisses me off when a rank 10 asks what ws's we're doing. its fucking obvious. sam thf blm in pt, guess what you are doing sam? thats right you fucking tool, tachi enpi. guess what you're doing thf? thats right, the same fucking move you've been doing since lvl 33.

a rank 9 thf, sucked so much balls, it was a lvl 54ish pt, the retard wasn't charging his sata before getting to camp, so our whm HAS to heal the melee, pulls hate, i have to voke, spam ninjitsu, the retard thf decides he's going to sata the melee, spam more ninjitsu, sickle slash, dead melee, downtime.

you watched thfs (especially blm's+thf own) set up your uber MB for 75 fucking levels and didn't notice they don't spend anytime planting hate. it is fucking retarded.

at least a rank 1-3 will listen to suggestions, every one else gives that, i have a lvl xx job, or i'm rank xx i'm not a noob line.

well guess what, 75% of the people that play only know one job, and that is their main(if that). so when you start leveling another job, watch what people of that job do. watch them.

I was planning on leveling RDM and I watched RDM after RDM, seeing what they cast when they cast, and bugged them for why they cast it. I learned the elemental wheel and how to soften up mobs for the spells i want to stick before i took my RDM past 11(and before nin) so when i picked up the job i wouldn't be "that galka with uber gear, but can't land slow to save his life".

this game is easier than any FPS, it is easier than any sports game, it is easier than fucking Pac-Man, just gotta open your eyes a bit to what everyone else is doing.

would just like to add that Kirayamato IS one of those nubs!
