EA has canceled Earth & Beyond, much to the dismay of the current player base, but to no surprise to many. While the graphics and quests, were on par with other MMOs, EnB had some serious issues with forcing downtime onto the user, limited character customization / equipment choices, and most of all very little content for high level players.

Yeah, that's a shame. It was a really great idea, but I couldn't get into it like I could FFXI.

Working at EB before Earth & Beyond came out I was able to get on the beta and play for a couple months before I got bored. I had already explored almost their entire galaxy and had a played a character in just about every possible race and such... *sigh* got bored everytime around lvl 20-25.

It's weird me saying that, 'cause I really enjoyed the minning and such, and that's what really kept me going.
 
I played the free demo, early on I was pretty hooked on it, but quickly my interest went down. I simply got bored of it, just seemed repetative and such, oh well, sucks for the player base.
