I'd just like to say that I haven't gotten CoP yet. But I have a 25 dollar gift card for EB games. I'm thinking after school sweet, Ill walk down and pick it up. I walk for half an hour(I cant drive yet). I get there find the game bring it up, $29.99. Aww I was ready to kill someone. I couldnt beleive it. I had no money on me either. So i spent an hour to get a game that Ive wanted only to get screwed over. What pisses me off the most is this

You gotta ruff them up and throw that in their face Torque. Make a phone call to one of their costomer reps, and bend them up a little.

And if it's EB, you got 10 days to bring back whatever game you purchased simply because you think the game is shit and get a full refund. That's how it is in Canada anyway.

Hopefully this teaches you the valuable lesson of never believing anything anyone says. Ever.

:?

If I see a sale for something, I never leave the house without calling ahead, getting an exact statement, and taking down the name of the person that made the claim.

Sorry you had to waste your time, man. Hopefully they at least let you rest in the store for a few minutes before the trek back home.

Print off the page from POL and bring it in. I had to do that at both CompUSA and EB to get CoP and FFXI for my computer (formerly PS2 player). Without the print off they wouldn't sell at the appropriate price.

The electronics industry is becoming evil like this. If you really want to get mad read the optional warranties these places offer....

Are they allowed to jack up the price on their own, just out of curiosity.

Grr and what else gets me is the link where it says EB sells it for 19.99 is down.

EB is an official reseller, so I would assume they have a MSRP agreement with SE that they will sell it at MSRP, but not everyone requires that. None official resellers can sell it at what ever price they choose too.
