EB - Gamestop... they both blow >.<
Always there is some kid (who reminds me of the pimply faced kid from the simpsons) asking you if I want to "reserve this, or that, or buy an extended warranty on whatever" gets real old. They assume because Im older that Im coming in to buy something for a kid, and they treat me as such.

The reservation process is a joke. I had CoP reserved, then when I walked in to pick it up, they said that I couldnt get it despite the fact that I had my reciept. Turns out they couldnt find "their" copy and tried to say I couldnt have mine. HA! I left my reciept on the counter and took my copy off the same counter and walked out............. Mail order is soooo the way to go.

Hrm, I think its location. I can't vouch for EB because there isnt one in my city. We have a GameStop, and it's a pretty small store in the mall compared to other stores in the mall. However, I have never had any problems with picking up a game I had preordered at anytime. I used to go to the mall so often that I guess you could say some of the employees at GameStop are like friends. My friend/roomate is actually friends with a few of them.

I can't really vouch for other GameStops, but the one in my city is pretty damn good considering how small it is. The only time I ever had a problem getting something I had reserved was back when the PS2 first came out, they had limited supplies, like every retailer then, and had to give out the preorders everytime they got shipments in for quite a long time. Thankfully though I did get mine on the 3rd-5th shipment, cant remember its been so long, but that was pretty quick considering most everywhere else was constantly out.

Otherwise, when I had preordered something, as soon as I came in and went to the counter, told them I had a preorder for X game, showed them my preorder slip, and then they got me my game. So, maybe its just the one in my city that doesn't suck balls. My GameStop rules!
