so I'm thinking of coming back to the game and playing casually on lanien's char, something I haven't done since aquiring it a few months ago

pretty much broke, there's alot of money I could have but I have no idea when the person holding it is going to log on and give it to me (cough odon cough)

so yeah, what's a good way of making money as the economy is right now? I would assume it's changed alot since I left almost a year ago.
 
i'm no one to speak of crafting scine my highest is only 60 lol, but the salvage items for final upgrade are running decently high atm
 
Selling Crafting Materials will never go out of style. Especially those used in common consumables. Honey, Slime Oils, Hive Chips, meats, etc.
 
Skaw pretty much nailed it. Good ol' farming is gonna be much better than crafting in most situations, and changes to NM drops becomming r/ex probably pushed RMT into other NM camps, making them more crowded. I still think your best bet is grabbin a level 15 job, and ravaging through La Theine for sheep items, beehive chips, and beastman seals. After a few days of this, use the seals as a bonus. Its one method that is always open.

Best way, well, yeah, selling crafting goods. Though KSNMs are potentially more rewarding than before (a lot drop more stuff now), those items have of course dropped badly in price...so yeah. =/

Intulo and Citipati are both pretty decent if you have good luck with drops.
 
I'd say if you're looking for a quick buck, BCNM, KSNM, ISNM, ENM... a lot of the drops from these BC based events can drop something that'll get you a good mil at least... and to be perfectly honest 1mil will get you a lot furthur now than it ever did.

On the other hand, I did a BC40 over the weekend and failed to clear 10k with a win.

I would have felt better if we had just lost.

NM drops are down, everything else is falling or raped-by-gilsellers (3k shihei?), farming is always there and always profitable.
