You seem so set on getting to logic here. That wasnt my logic. That was a statement by GM working for SE. Please tell me why you still bother arguing against it?

And I would never steal a HNM at 2% health, not that I would stick around that long if we didn't claim it. But if someone does, you cant do anything to them. :P

That is not fact and you have not proven it. How can you prove things without using logic or reason, which you say you haven't used?
 
I told you. GMs working for SE said any mobs that is unclaimed is open for attack at all times. Theres your proof right there, theres the fact.

Anyway, I hade reading long ass post so I stoped after th 3rd page, and I ALMOST agrre with the orig post, I have a high disrespect for the hills in Gustaburg nomally cause of all the HL's killin bee's for chips, ok, np, the Lowbies will live, I understand, but have some fuckin respect!

Say your farming, and your a lazy individual that wants to do nothing but -ga farm a low area for crappy drops, ok? What do you do when you run your train past a PT that happens to be fighting a mob that your training? Most people her would say Meh, oh well, and keep on going. True?!? Yes! Cause most of us are ass holes and are all about ourselves cause everyone else on the server is out to get YOUR TRAINS! Gimmie a break, without even touching the whole "Stealing from a train thing", Most people who found them selves in the leveling players position, would hope the Farmer would stop, cast his little spell or use his AOE WS, show off and apologize for stealing all the mobs and give up that all-mighty Sheep skin ao the PT has another pull and continue on with there already hard enough time of leveling.

Now I assume this is all a fairytail as it seems that most HL's now feel that the lowbies are making their life dificult and they have to tell the lower players to /leave or go away! Now thats pretty damn arrogant. If you can't learn to share mobs in a Leveing/Farming area and have respect for each other, then level a damn Bst and head to the farthest reaches of the world, and leave the darn levelers alone. And remember, WE WERE ALL NOOBS AT ONE POINT YOU IDIOTS!

Just because something isn't breaking a rule/law doesn't make it right. You can walk down a public street throwing out offensive curses and not break a law, but that doesn't make it right. Trying to say it is ok to steal hnm's is just mind boggling, but that is what your reasoning keeps pointing at.

Perfectly said, if the rules in FFXI were the same rules that are generaly accepted as moral, than you could walk down the street in crowded city swinging your fists in the air and kicking, and ALL your fredom ends when your fist hits some one elses nose. Your rights in games follow the same principle if you read the rules. Your freedom to do what ever you want ends as soon as your actions hinder someone elses freedoms. The same is true in most democraticly run countries. And SE NEEDS to re-evaluate some of the enguagement rules for combat in-game. They made one good change by allowing you to only lock one target at a time, now they need to update a few other glitches, but thats another topic for another board. Simple as that.
 
Well as I said before. To me one thing doesnt have to apply to everything. Matter of opinion. Taking a mob from a train is nowhere near on the scale to taking a HNM beaten up by another alliance. I am gonna continue taking from trains when I have need of the mobs ^^ bye
