I am calling staged based on the fact that a lot of those guys are wearing armor found on the boss of the dungeon they are in, meaning they must have gone through this room approxamately 45-50 times already.

For a technical explanation of what just happened lol...

In this dungeon, (UBRS, Upper blackrock Spire) theres a room called the rookery, its full of eggs which as you see contain whelps. (Whelp= baby dragon) The eggs hatch when stepped on but there is a perfectly safe path between them you never have to step on a single freaking egg. People are stupid and don't listen though.

The path to the dungeon boss is up the stairs they guys filming runs up (aggroing big dragons at the top like a tard.) There is however a miniboss to the left that spawns when a crystal is clicked.

the miniboss is 100% optional and they are arguing about whether to do it or not at the beginning, it drops a good belt for mages so they decide to do it. The leader gives out the worst possible plan on the earth for killing whelps, (UNNECESSARY IN THE FIRST PLACE) basically he wants the warriors to AOE-fear them (fear is a spell that makes monsters flee from you for a time). If you want to kill whelps, (they seem impressive but take about 3hits to kill each, they are 'too weak' con) you gather them up and the mage uses his aoe spell and they all die fast. Healers heal the mages while doing that. Instead of gathering them the leader decided to spread them out as far as they would go... WTF he was talking about divine intervention for I have no idea (DI is a paladin spell, it kills the paladin but puts an invincible shield around a friendly target. The target cannot move or do anything while invincible for 30secs. How the hell would that help them??)

So either an excersise in complete stupidity or staged. I can link a wow video of people kicking much ass (the end of the Onyxia, 2nd hardest boss in the game, fight) if you want to see REAL wow, not idiots.

Lol I don't think they're idiots - they just wanted an excuse for their friend named Leeroy to scream 'LEEEEERROOOOOOY!!!!!!!!!!!!' and say 'at least I have chicken'

lmao - dont you not lose xp in WoW anyways?

Don't lose xp, but you have to pay to repair the 10% equipment damage you take from dying at NPC hands.

Which is early on...pennies. But at their level? Hmm I hear the horror stories of plate wearers getting double digit gold in repairs <_<

Why is paying 10+ Gold a horror story? >_> Money is so easy to get on that game.

Depends what lvl you are, but 10-20 gold every death is not something you want to have to deal with.

10+ gold is not hard to farm no, but you do need to really farm it, it's not like what I go doin and farm 2 or 3 gold in an hour (which is technically a decent amount for my level), and let the quest grinding add up also.

eh it isnt 10gold a death... at the 'level' of gear those guys are at even a full degrade won't be ten. Possibly 7 for the plate wearers, 5 or so for mail and less than that for cloth.

Armor degredation isn't that big of a deal... Money does have to be farmed. There is no sniper ring to craft that will make you rich infinitely. In fact the best way to make money (one of them) is simply to farm crafting materials and load up the AH with them.

The way it works is like this you have lets say a helmet. It has 100% durability. If you die it becomes 90%. 80%. so on. When your helmet reaches 0% durability it 'breaks' and you no longer get the bonus its as if you were not wearing a helmet. (This is not perma-broke, just until you go to an NPC to repair it.) If you repair often, your gear shouldn't ever go below 40% dura and the price tag isnt very high. If all your stuff is broken, (at the end of a long dungeon after numerous deaths) then its going to be expensive, and also based on the quality of gear you wear. If you wear mostly 'green' quality its cheaper than repairing the rarer 'blue' quality. The real expensive repairs come from 'purple' (very rare overpowered items). But you don't see people decked in mostly purple till they've been 60 for a while and are doing MC and Onyxia regularly... I only had one purple myself ; ; (but it was a cape and capes dont have durability :P) Plate costs more than mail costs more than cloth in repairs as well.

Its basically a limiter for big dungeons. You have 10 deaths to beat the dungeon or you are naked. :) You can go back to town to repair at any time, but the respawn in dungeons is generally 20 minutes, so it is not usually possible unless you want to start it over (or have a warlock but thats a lot of info i dont feel like explaining.)

I thought me & Zhao were going to pee our pants, Ely. Great job on finding that video!
